Talking Lake county comp #2 August 29

Alright it is that time again. We have another one coming up on AUGUST 29, 2009. It is on a Saturday.

It is going to be at the HighLand Spring Spot. To get there take hwy 29 south and turn right on Highland spring road. and go all the way to the fork in the road and there will be tents set up. From the santa rosa area take the 101 north and then get on 175 east and take it through the mountain and turn right on 29 and then turn right again on highland spring road.

Tech will be at 9:00AM followed by Drivers meeting and then the comp will start at 10:00AMsharp.

There will be 4 courses on the most natural rock you could every crawl with different challenges.

There will be a cash prize for the top 3 drivers maybe top 5 depending on how many people sign up. all you have to do is chip in 5 bucks and that will give you a chance to win some money, (it will also get you soda and water)

I have a quick question, how far down Highland Springs road is this place? I just looked it up on Google, and that's a whole lotta road! Can somebody bookmark this on Google Maps or something? thanks.

You want to come in on HighlandSprings Rd. from hwy 29 side. You follow the road until it forks, there's a big dirt parking lot at the fork, just about impossible to miss it! There'll be canopies up for some shade should be real easy to see,we didn't lose anyone last time,or they've never been found If you see the lake, turn around you went about 1/4 mile too far!
Hope this helps.

Allright then,
There will be four courses all between 7-9 gates long. There will be a 6min. time limit for adults with dig,and an 8min. time limit for non dig rigs, and kids under 15.We eliminated most of the long tumbling hill climbs that held up alot of people, and worked alot of rigs.We streched out the courses (they wern't short before!)and brought the times down to keep it interesting! There should still be enough technical sections to keep everyone honest, still friendly enough for most to advance.

Drivers
1.Kyle M.
2.Brian R.
3.Rustler Hustler
4.Jesse R.
5.C.Penry
6.Nick D.
7.Fernando
8. Kevs G.
9. BRAD K
10.brokennib/chris
11. Steve Passetti
12.Conner B.
13.Bradley D.
14.Lucian V.

We'll need to get some more volunteers to run all four at once! I believe Kelly W. and the Prathers may also show. Bring a friend, lets make this a great comp!

Default Count Me In

You guys help us, so the least I can do is return the favor. I'll help judge. It will only cost you guys - 10 points on each course before my truck even hits the rocks. For all those serious guys out there I'm just joking.
