went over to orv park today took pics...

the scaler trench was washed out but i like it more now,
looks more natural.

only spots that need attention are on the scaler course,
a few rocks and itll be done.

a few at the bottom of the uphill climb

rearranged some rocks...
setup 2.2 course...8 gates 5 min.
cheri (gf)didnt make it past g2.
i made it to g5 and timed out.

2 back up spots that i had in mind.

#1 rock garden.

and a trail called 4 fingers..a lil bit of a walk..
but TONS OF FUN

have 2 other spots for scalers that are just right by
the office.

if the weather doesnt dump anymore gullywashers on
us i think well be ok.

im excited about it!
had 4 people come up and ask "what that was" and "how can
i get one." " i had no idea they made stuff like this."

workin on getn the trophies wrapped up this week.
got some cool ideas for the 1st place ones.8-)

*will keep updated*

I had thought about the rock garden before. Easy enough to get to for the mall cruisers too!
Four fingers...........hmmmm have seen that one I think, its a 4 right?
Love what the water did to the scaler trail.

yeah, i like the rock garden and 4 fingers(my fav) better as well,
but the one up by the parking is easier access, more spectator friendly.

we can do the comp there,i was just try to keep the whole "comp"
within a area,so we wouldnt have to be jumpin around everywhere.

4 fingers and the rock garden are within walkin distance of each other,
but ive heard of some people that dont like to walk to comp areas.
4 fingers is a @ 300 steps from road to trail head.

parking wouldnt be a problem at either location.

lmk what you guys wanna do??

#1-parking lot area - has bathrooms right there, elec, drinks, snacks
#2-rock garden
#3-4 fingers-a decent walk to get there

judges would be helpful.
shouldnt need that many.

i figured we'd start with the smallest class 1st,which
is probably gonna be 1.9 or scaler's (5 in those classes)
at the parking lot.

take lunch.

then do the 2.2's.
which we could do at 4 fingers or rock garden.???

hows that sound?

that weekend is also the "marine's trail ride",so
we should have plenty of spectators.

looks like the rock garden is gonna be the where the 2.2 action is going down, cant close 4 finger trail.

rock garden is big enough to do 3+ courses on.

lotsa loose rock,slick-sharp novaculite, maybe some water.
