2010 VARCOR COMP Point Series

Ok guys. It's time to get our act together for the 2010 Point Series. We have created the schedule for the 2010 season which will include 8 official VARCOR events, of which three can be dropped. Only the top 5 scores at the end of the season will be used to determine the Series Champion. The series will start in October 2009 and end in June 2010. Again, we have chosen to alternate Saturdays and Sundays as we did for the 2009 Series. All locations after Janury are subject to change if we find any other locations in the state, weather, or site condition.

This year, in March, we are going to do a Money Run to break up the season.

We are going to continue to run 2.2 comp. We will also run a 1.9 comp class if enough drivers show (3 or more drivers). As in the past, there has not been enough interest to run a Super class either but if enough drivers show, then we'll run a Super class.

The scale class will be either a 1.9 or 2.2 class which is being determined.

For now, 2.2 comp class and a scale class is guaranteed at each event. We'll play it by ear for the other classes, based on participants. So, feel free to share your opinions on what you plan to run this year.
