NE Ohio carpool 2010. Who's in?

Had a bunch of inquiries about possible tag-alongs, so I want to know how many folks from NE OH and W PA we can cram into a 15-passenger van.

Renting the van for a week will be 900 bucks  (I didn't ask to BUY the goddamn thing) plus gas. The more ways we can split that up the cheaper it'll be.

Oh yeah, 15 passengers means 15 little kids, not 15 full-size adults (or super-size even), so I'm thinking to cap this at 10, to leave room for rigs, bags, and so we won't have to cuddle the whole way there

Post up if yer in.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going, If I do, I'll probably drive myself. But, we could run together on the way out there.

I am in depending on the date..

You know for that kind of money for the fan we can rent a 28' class C motor home for around 1200.. be nice to just be able to crap in transit not to mention all the extra room we would have..

Hell yeah, then we'd save on the motel, too. Good call.

Racer4Life 10-04-2009 09:22 AM

Do you have to have special licence for Class C? (this question is before research) Just figured you guys would know.

I'm sure my Class A CDL will cover that  We only get 100 miles free per day. It's about 3600 miles round trip, and at .25 per mile we're looking at another $600 for mileage. If we have 6 people in there that's $500 each, plus a share of the fuel.

You are far enough out right now, if you keep watching cruiseamerica, they run specials all the time for free mileage as long as you book within their certain time.
