This will be the beginning of the 2006 point series for both UTRCRC and VegasCrawlerz.



There is a little change for 2006 that are not on the official rules. (2.2 no steering limits)

Wheelbases WILL be measured this year.

VEHICLE REQUIERMENTS

Class 1 - STP SUper Class

- No limits to wheelbase, Vehicle track width or height.
- No limits on tire type or size.
- Limited to 4-wheeled vehicles only.
- No limits to steering configuration
- You must run a body (full tube chassis acceptable).
- The body must be 1/10th scale or larger.
- The body can be cut/modified but must retain 70% of its original form, but the width or the cab must be the factory width.
- Body should resemble its original form (jeep bodies look like a jeep)


Class 2 – 2.2 Pro-Mod Class
If the Class 2 vehicle violates any of these guidelines it must be run in the Class 1 – STP Super Crawler Class.

• Vehicle wheelbase is a maximum 12.5 inches.
• Vehicle track width is a maximum 12.5 inches.
• Limited to 2.2 inch rims and tires or smaller
• No limits to steering configuration
• You must run a body (full tube chassis is acceptable).
• The body must be 1/10th scale or larger.

could be ice cold and if the wind starts to blow even colder... but it als could be 50 deg... I have been there (Bootleg Canyon) in January when it was 55deg and when it has been 20 deg.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You will need to be a member of UTRCRC to compete in the UTRCRC comps with the exception of the January 14th Las Vegas Comp. However Las Vegas WILL be part of the 2006 UTRCRC points series and if you are NOT a member at the time of this comp, you will NOT get points for Las Vegas.

So you guys are allowing full on rear steer in the 2.2 class?

That is one of my favorite things of that class is dealing with the lack of rear steer.

Yeah... we put it up for a club vote and it passed 2/3 to 1/3. I personaly voted for no full rear steer... and I most likely won't ever hook mine it up. I guess I could overrule the vote...HEHEHEHEHE

Post up if you are coming, and what class you will be running in. So I can have the scoresheets all ready to go for the comp. I will then randomly draw the names out of a hat for the driving order.

I was going to see if anyone needed hotel accomodations. I need a tenative head count so I can see if I can score a group discounted rate.

Let's see how many would like to do a group dinner.

We could hit that mexican place in Boulder City after the comp? been ther one a few years ago... I don't remeber it being horrable. But at that time I did have a few beer in me.
