We use a german version of the US rules. Only minor changes.

We have three classes:

2,2" (only 2 channel radios allowed)
2,2" modified
and supers

Is 2.2 modified anything like our 2.2 class here in the US?

I am happy to announce, that we adopted the 2010 US rules nearly complete, so that the results will be worldwide comparable.

Also, competing for visitors will be nothing different than at home.

Our planns for friday are a big campfire in the stoneyard with an awesome "nightcrawl". Just for fun, but be sure to prepare your vehicles with some trail-lights.

Looking forward to an awesome event,

Peter

The nightcrawl will be Saturday night, Peter.
That´s what the planning says...

a finalized time-frame will be posted soon.
The event very briefly:

Friday:
Scalerun - just for fun no comp scaling planned
Saturday - all 2.2 runs except finals
Sunday - 1.9, super and 2.2finals
With more to come.

Lodging info will be gathered soon and posted. If you like camping close to the compground, contact me. There campground is pretty much overbooked, but we´ll be able to find room for another tent. Just if you like, though.

I´m really looking forward to meet you guys, since this is really gonna be great for the sport over here having you come.

Nice to hear that some guys of you will take part of this big competition. Not really sure, but it seems to be the biggest crawler event in Europe. You'll visit a cool location an meet the gentle people of the german scene.

By the way, I'll start with a Losi Comp Crawler

See you
Tom

PS: be sure to register asap at the 1st of April (00.00 CEST)
I'm the guy who get the register mails and draw by lot the starting grids

Sounds great! I can't wait to see what kind of crawling Germany has to offer.

Well, for example, last year greasypete simply had to add an homage to the "film noir" by building this cinema-inspired ( "La salaire de la peur") suspension bridge, courtesy of Henri-George Clouzot, complete with logo of the SOC = Southern Oil Company.
Unfortunately, there wasnt a ready-available source for Nitroclycerine to make the pictured scale-run more realistic
And outside this, the course-designers proved to be a bunch of sickos
