Yep, the bigger the tire the better in these competitions. Rok Lox and Rock Grabbers (both 5 1/2" tall) ruled that day.

This may be a stupid question, but what does a top truck challenge in oregon have to do with the scale Nationals in Montana?

A test run to work out the kinks, to see if it'll work out to do in Montana. The 1.9 version is scheduled for january.

Because I'll be setting up and running the TTC in Montana this year, and I'm working all the bugs here before the scale Nats. I run the scale comps (with alot of help) here at ORCRC and I also have alot of scale terrain at my disposal along my railroad. I have held railroad comps and figured that a TTC would be awesome to do. Ben and I have been thinking about the TTC for awhile, and now that we see that it can be done smoothly, it will be in the plans for 2010.

Besides Jason, you know everything good in scale originates in Oregon.....

I asked Ben if he wanted me to post it in here, and he said "Hell yeah, let's get everyone excited about a TTC in Montana!" So here it resides.....

Next TTC, all comp truck tires will be illegal . RC4WD better get to making scale tires....I have a feeling they're going to be in high demand.
