| Southeast RC Extreme RC 4x4 Challenge event #3
Due to the holidays coming up we will not be having an event in November but will instead concentrate on the Gulches event on Dec. 5 For this event all people that enter will need to sign in at the office. If just entering for the RC event then entry is $5. If you enter the park to ride and pay the normal park fees then entry to the event is free. No 2-wheel drive vehicles will be allowed down at the event site unless you are cleared by the office. This time we plan to only run 2.2 but may add another class if rig count allows for it. Park opens at 9:00am with signups starting then also. Drivers meeting will be at 10am with comp starting at 10:30am. We will be running 3 courses and the running order will be by drawing this time. Location is: Gulches ORV Park Laurens SC 6850 Indian Mound Rd. Laurens SC 29384 Their website is: http://www.gulchesorvpark.com Last edited by snobrder; 11-30-2009 at 01:32 PM. |

Hey Mike, I would love to come to this event but we have our local comp series that same day. No chance of having it on Sunday huh? That way Bryan and I at least, if not 3-4 of us from NC can come. If not, no big deal, we will catch you next time. Thanks Andy |

| Wish we could but with the timing right now it's not possible to have one on Sunday. I had to clear this date with the owner.

Mike, how far of a walk is it down to the comp site? I dont have a 4X4 to drive down with. If it is far, that might limit some from coming to this event as well... -Jason |

You will not have to carry your gear as I will have someone to give rides to the location from the parking area. | |

Don't have a list up yet so who is going to be there? also, updated fee. Skip told me it would be $5 to enter the park if just for RC. It's still free if you come to ride and just want to run. |

Weather report is for rain/snow mix. I will post up as soon as I know what is going on with the weather for Saturday. Skip usually posts up about park conditions on his site here http://www.gulchesorvpark.com/bb/php...ee7a26070244ef |

The rain we have been having up here could make it more interesting/muddy for you if you have been getting it as well. If our comp gets cancelled and yours is gonna run I will probably be down. |

| Event to be Re-scheduled
I just spoke to Skip and the river is up 60' so he is closing the park. He said we could go ahead and try to have the RC event but since that would mean he would have to open just for us, we will re-schedule this event. I will post up the new date once I have one.
