Thank you all for attending the NBRCC Comp #3 in their 2009 Winter Series!

McInnis Park is an interesting place, that's for sure. The NBRCC club only uses this spot once a year, if it got more use it would be flat! Today though, the Shale rock held up very well for us. Overall the courses remained very consistent.

Judging by the scores, we're in need of some bonus lines, alternate routes, and more aggressive courses for the next comp! Time to shake things up for Comp #4 of the Series.

Congrats to Bryan Crofts for a nearly perfect score! We had a bunch of big negative numbers come out of today's courses. Well done to all the drivers!

The club works hard at putting on these events and although we're not perfect, I think the result is very good. Everyone who helps out does so as a volunteer, giving up their time and sometimes their fun, to help host these events. I'd like to say a big thanks to all the judges and scorekeepers who helped out today!

Peter and I talked it over and we adjusted Greg and Jason's score on course one. We gave them the average score for the course. Those guys helped out ALL DAY and then got totally shafted by the rain ....

Ok, I'm sick and I'm heading home to get some sleep! Post up, pm me, or give the shop a call tomorrow to give me feedback from the event. I'd like to hear what you guys thought about it.

Jake

P.S. For the record, I'd like everyone to know Rockcad Dan was right about the straddle rule, and I was wrong. There, it's in print! Sorry Dan!!! Thanks for bringing that to my attention and thanks for having a great sense of humor!!

Thanks to everyone who showed up to play today, I think we all had a great time. I would especially like to thank those who helped judge, scorekeep, and put the courses together in the morning. Juan that rope on the bridge was BRILLIANT! P.S. Jake one of these days you will spell my name right.LOL

Yeah I agree! That and the ladders really helped make the most out of the area by linking more together. I think we'll look into having some of those items for our next Genentech comp.
