The 2010 Point Series is kickin off, so make sue to be at the top of your game. 801RCC is loaded with great veteran drivers and with a bunch of new guys lookin to be serious threats this year. With the driver roster 801RCC has there are a bunch of guys that could take it this year. It'll be a tough battle and I'm sure the points spread will be tight. So put on your game face and come show your skills with some of the best drivers on some awesome terrain with good friend and good people.

-When-
Jan 23th '10 -1/23/10-

9-9:30 Course setup
9:45 group pics and drivers meeting
10:00 Competition starts

-Where-
St George, Utah

NAME: Pioneer Park
LOCATION: Pioneer Park St George, Ut. 250 East Red Hills Parkway
TERRAIN: Red Sandstone/Slick Rock
TRACTION: Medium/low, very consistent

Well hopefully the "Frigid Funk" will be a bit less Frigid with the comp being held in Southern Utah. St George is a nice town in the southwest corner of Utah. St George is home to some of the prettiest Red Rock in the word. With mountain biking, hiking, ATVing, Fishing, Gaming and a few National Parks just miles away, St George is a perfect place for a "getaway".

801RCC uses USRCCA rules
http://www.usrcca.com/rules/2010.pdf

this is a FREE comp and open to anyone running a USRCCA legal 2.2 or 1.9 rig

Well as usual the weather in Utah has changed again It's now saying 40% Rain all day Saturday and snow Friday night into Saturday morning. So this might be a wet one anyway. Either way I'm still ready. I'm not scared of a little weather. Here's an 801RCC comp from a few years back just to get everyone in the mood

In case anyone wants to, We'll be doing Dinner at Iggy's at about 8pm Saturday night. It's always a blast and I'd like to get some feed back on some club stuff for the upcoming year. So if you want, come join us.

Thanks again to everyone that came out to support 801RCC. Thanks to everyone that helped out. The weather wasn't bad at all no rain or snow just wet rock. It was warmer than Salt Lake I know that for sure. The Slick Rock did live up to it's name, it was slick. I think the key was to be as fluid as possible. It seemed once you started a line or obstacle you had to commit, stopping or even steering movements would cause you to slide off your intended line and into a gate or off course completely. Anyway on to the scores

2.2's

1.9's
