Here's the results from today. I think in quick summary, the blindfold course was a real hit. That was alot of fun as a driver and exhausting as the caller.  Lots of fun.In hindsight, I wish we would have been more forgiving on the pass the TX course...I just passing the TX back and forth was enough craziness. Amping things up with a tight running time wasn't necessary. Oh well, that was my fault, I thought we needed the extra element of "urgency".  Oh well, still fun, next time.  Here's our results -  Congrats to our three top teams!  And Alex....all I can say is SORRY Buddy!

Thanks Mike for another epic event and great hospitality. I always look forward to making the trip to concord. Keep the good times rolling Mike. Ill try and get some pics up soon. Thanks again to everyone that made this happen.

I can't tell you how much fun this was. Blind folded Hummmm? Try to drive blind folded. that was great! You never know where you are and your spoter says burn front right and you turn left it is crazy. My brother runs a perfect run and I step on the finish gate that sucked. Swap the controller was great, there was enough time we just sucked on theat one. We went back afterwards and gave ourselfs 6 mins. and we did worse. Now with the no dig the was wierd not using what you have worked so hard to set up. Just like to say thanks to everyone that set this up and made this weekend work. I know that it is alot of work. Thanks for everthing.( IT does not work with all the judges even in a wheel chair, Sorry for the take out on the rock race DAN) that was a great shoot out at the end. Man i'm still jazzed about this comp. we need more fun comps. like this. Just relax no points no nothing just have fun. If you have not been here for a comp. you should make one. And to finish I just have to say DAN and BRIAN Super driving and the BACKYARD BOYS nice driving today. See you at the next comp. |

Looks like I missed a good comp 2day. Oh well! At least I'm back to work now. I'm working in Vegas this weekend and I did find a cool Rc shop in town. Sorry I missed you guys.

I had a buddy that worked in there and said there was a ok shop there. Not sure if it was in Vagas or Arizona, but they had a BAR where they had rock crawling in the shop. Nothing like the shop in concord. |
