| UTRCRC & VegasCrawlerz Comp Info With Map!
Some more info regarding the Saturday's Comp: Looks like the weather should be nice for this weekend. We have a ton of prizes for the raffle that will be going on during the event. The local Hobbytown is providing some really nice stuff as well. The grand prize will not dissapoint and will be announced at the event. The list and pics of loot will be posted Friday evening. To keep confusion to a minimum we are going to meet at the 76/Rebel station on the road into Boulder City on the west side of the road. We can either hand out a more defined map or caravan up. Looking forward to a great turnout and a lot of fun. BIGGER MAP!!! http://beta.propichosting.com/FileHa...&sub=2&ext=gif Last edited by FrankyRizzo; 01-12-2006 at 05:22 PM. |

There will be fanominal prizes for the raffle. A big shout out to Hobby Town USA and the Utah guys for donating prizes! The map on the flyer sucks, I don't know what the webmasters for Bootleg Canyon were smoking, so I went on google earth and got some better maps. Just take the 95 south all the way till you get to Boulder City. There is a 76 gas station on the right, that is where we will meet. Please be at the gas station by 9:30, we will wait untill 10:15 or later untill we go up the mountain. ** If you need any directions please PM kenn or myself and we will give you our phone numbers. ** Last edited by sean_lv_crawler; 01-11-2006 at 10:32 PM. |

I would like to thank everyone that came out to support Crawlfest 06. It was awesome meeting everyone from the board who made it. It is great puting a face to the screen names. I want to thank Richard and Daniel who braved the trip from Nor Cal. PinchFlat and Kaetwo for the help in judging and setup. A special thanks to Fishmaxx for all his help the night before and with setup and judging as well. Next year mark your calender for this event. We learned a lot this comp and we are looking to being able to accomodate a big crowd better. Big congrats goes out to our grand prize winner Gimbal who is the proud new owner of TubeWerks tube chassis. I was more than happy to dish out $1000 worth of prizes. Next year we will have more prizes and we will get a full 3 courses done in the daylight hours. Thank you all very much for the great comp. Kenn AKA FrankyRizzo |

What a day! Great comp. Thanx to the Vagas Crawlers for throwin down one of the best comps I've been to. There was a good turn out, near 25/30 people showed up for this one. The courses were sweet, very challenging, and a ton of fun to drive. We had 5 UTRCRC boyz out to rep. Thanx again guyz for a great time. The prizes were awesome and plentiful. Matt, from "Team Green", made off with a ton of the prizes, got so excessive that he stopped accepting them. Can't wait for next year.....might have to try to make another one this summer. P.S. 2nd place in the super Class with a 2.2...... Damn I'm good P.P.S. I'm working on pics as I type this. |

Congrats to the top 3 in each class. The 2.2 courses were a *****! A lot of people pointed out, thats why the scores are so close. Thanks everyone for making it out here, espically Daniel and Richard for making a 9 hour drive! Pinch and Kaetwo for helping make it run smoothly, and FIshMaxx also. Hell of a turnout, I didnt anticipate that many people competeing. Gave us an idea of how to run a big comp. Next year will be better.
