Don't really matter what he's got, doesn't mean he knows how to drive it.

So, if I could make a request.

4 min. Courses, keep them moving quickly, and end long before dark.

At least that way, judges get their breaks, lunches, and some fun time after the comp for everyone too.

Really sad to hear the last one went way into the dark when Horsetooth was pretty good.

On another note, the site will be posted Saturday, and knowing 666, it could be anywhere at Palmer. Even the poopie park.

Yeah RR went into the dark, we had a ton of people, more then we have ever had! I agree 4 minute courses would help... Hopefully. Sure is worth a try.

We just watched Parker run 49 people through 5 courses at 10 gates each in 5 minutes intervals and it ran smooth. Was done way before dark. It looks as though the new thing is Longer coures w/ less time and ranging difficulty. I kinda like 10 gates per course w/ 5:00, will be the new format for my events. Kinda like rockracing a lil.

Yeah, I don't really care how we run them, but to come home late on Sunday night, not be able to have any time to relax, unwind, tell the family how shitty you drove, and just get ready to go to work on Monday is killin alot of us.

I personally would like to be done by 3 or 4.

Like I said, then there is still plenty of time to do more stuff too. JMO

I liked how Parker asigned your first course an then left it open for you to choose. It makes everyone get on course fast an no sitting an waiting for the right time.

We have never been done by 3-4. I remember last year this time we were finishing late in the dark because of the shorter days. Then the days get longer!

Rush rush makes things no fun. This is suposed to be fun?

We can run 4 minute courses, no biggie to me, the way judges step up we could run 1, 4 minute course and be done before noon!

Sparkys right, don't let people stand around and wait, assign a start course to everyone and go from there. It worked really well. I could help w/ putting everyones name in a hat, and draw names for courses from there. That away it's a draw and fair. You could even say if you start on #2, then go to #3 next and so on. I'm sure it will push people through faster

I'm not sure 4 minutes will reallly make a differnce, everyone has been asking me to set my events up on the format of 10 gates, 5 minutes. If that's what they do at Worlds and the Axial Qualifiers then that would be a good way to practice. Just my 2 cents worth, I'm sure Patrick and Ty will make it fun and try to get everyone home at a good time. I bet I beat ya'll home this week, LOL

Thats how we used to do it. Then we adapted Utah's free crawl system which speed things up as the judges don't have to call the guys name and wait for them to show up.

Free crawl = procrastination ( did I say that ), Fawk-it, push em through. I believe that makes it way more fair and forces people who wanta watch everybody else into running. Not fair for one guy to watch everyone screw up all day so he can correct the mistakes at the end. Make it a lottery, when it's your turn, MAN UP.

You also were only running 2.2. We are running 1.9, 2.2 and super. Last comp we ran 41 2.2's, 23 1.9's and 14 supers. That is 78 trucks....
