This was the first CCRC comp I had attended. We had a great time! The courses were top notch and the judges were very accomidating of my 5 y.o. ranger driver. She had a good time and is usually shy around guys she doesnt know, but she was very comfortable. The 2 judges running the courses simutaneously worked very smooth and fast.

Thanks again for all the hard work you guys did on sunday.

So, there was two judges running the course at the same time? Meaning, two drivers were running at the same time?

Yeah Jake once a driver reached gate 5 another driver and judge would start their run. If the second driver did happen to catch up with the first driver the judge would stop him and his time when he cleared a gate until the course was clear. I wasnt to sure that this would work but it worked out awesome. All of the drivers seemed to like the system and I didnt hear any negitive feed back.

as a new judge i wasn't sure at first but once we got going, it worked out.everyone was told in the drivers meeting if you catch up to the driver ahead we would stop them in a safe spot and wait.

i had a couple of drivers have to do on course repairs and let the other judge know so he could wait a little longer to start.we did not have to stop anyone and it wasn't an issue.some of the other judges said it worked for them also.

it was something to try to speed up the day with so many drivers and it gave us a little rest between them instead of no stopping.it was also nice to be done before dark . jph
