| 801RCC 2010 Comp, Event #8 "August Afterburn" 801RCC 2010 Comp, Event #8 "August Afterburn" Don't put your light away just yet guys.... You might still need them With the summer in full swing, this is prime time for crawling, camping and other outdoor activities. Make sure you stay at the top of your game and come out to the "Afterburn" and show off your skills along with your latest tweaks and changes. Of course hanging out and shoot the breeze is another great reason to come kick it with 801RCC at another premier crawling event. -when- August 14th 2010 -8/14/10- 3:00pm Course setup 3:45pm Pics and drivers meeting 4:00pm Competition starts This comp will run a little different than most comps. With the summer heat we'll be running all 5 courses starting at 4pm and run into the night. This should allow us to run after the peak of the summer heat. -where- "Little Moab" Elberta, Ut. NAME: Little Moab LOCATION: Elberta TERRAIN: White slickrock/sand TRACTION: Varies med to high If you plan to attend "August Afterburn" we suggest camping over night as this comp may run into the night. We strongly suggest having LED's or some kind of lights mounted to your rig, just in case, the more the better. The Driver is also allowed to have a light. Headlamp, flashlight or even a spotter with a light. No light restrictions. If you show up early and get straight to competing you could possibly finish all 5 courses before dark. 801RCC uses USRCCA rules http://www.usrcca.com/rules/2010.pdf this is a FREE comp and open to anyone running a USRCCA legal 2.2 or 1.9 rig See ya on the rox Last edited by NaZ-T; 07-29-2010 at 10:13 AM. |

Very challenging courses, Like Mac10 said. I have to agree that they were some of the hardest courses I've seen in a while. My rig ran incredibly good and I finished all but one course, I did make it inches from the finish though. I had a blast as usual, and it was awesome to hang out with everyone again. I can't thank everyone enough for all you guys do to make the comps memorable and fun. I'm already stoked for next comp, back to Desert Mt. Special Thanks Chaotic Crawlers/Tuna Club High Pines Honey Bucket Along with everyone that continues to come out and support 801RCC and helps make 801RCC the best R/C club around -Scores- 2.2's 1.9's |
