RECON Inferno Series Round 7 "The Night Comp"

The Night Comp is one of the most unique r/c crawling comps that you will ever participate in. Every driver has a different take on rock lights and part of the fun is seeing all the cool lighted rigs doing work at night.

The rules are simple, your rig can have as many lights that you can mount and power. The driver can use a headlamp with a stock/factory colored lens, ie. blue, green, or red. We have had drivers use glow sticks in very creative ways, as well. The brighter the better!

Note: No amber lens.

At no time during a drivers run can any white light be used. A drivers spotter, (only one spotter) must use a filtered lens as well. Spectators/drivers watching other drivers cannot use white light. A warning will be given at first, then a 50 will be issued for the violaters lowest scored course.

There will be a designated pit section. All RECON and USRCCA Rules will be followed. Navigating from course to course please use your white light and be very prudent when doing so.

All current suspensions are in effect, those drivers can attend as spectators only. At no time will suspended drivers be able to spot or drive.

This years night comp is on August 27th @ 2100hrs (9pm)

Tech will start at 2030hrs (8:30pm); then drivers meeting; then comp start.

The classes are 2.2 Pro / Pro shafty; 2.2 Sport. There will be no Ranger Class at this event. The logistics and location won't allow it. Any Ranger driver that would like to drive in the Sport Class may do so for this comp only. If we have any Rangers, they have a pass to the front of the line to get all their runs completed before bed time.

*EDIT* Iam kinda in the dark about the type of light that can be used for a headlamp and spotters light.(Pun intended):lmao:. So my HEADlamp has to have a colored lens and the spotters also?? Thanks Blind A$$ Bill

yes but they have to be factory tinted lenses no blue tape or dying no white or amber light allowed.:mrgreen: have fun finding some.

Well that really limits what can be used, that does not incourage people to participate.
