I went out there today and this place is off the hook. I'll be there to finish last with my lowrider.

Location address added to original post. Remember, don't go all the way to Bean Hollow parking lot itself. We will be along the side of the road North of there. ~1/4 mile North.

Dean and I scoped out a few courses that should have a good variety of obstacles and be challenging in different ways. However, I don't think we could ever make a course capable of stopping your rig Bernie. Sheesh that was rediculous what it could do.

Sam I'm sure you can come up with something to stop it.

It looks like it being so low and the WB being long it wouldn't take to much in the breakover angle department to hang it up.

No that is definitely true and we always throw in the variety of terrain to test most instances of ability. However, his rig works so well in so many planes, that it will be hard to have his class of rig run on the same courses as the 2.2s. However, we have a couple doozies waiting for everyone.

I think the hardest part, as we saw from this last weekend, will be if bernie can keep his rig from breaking. I don't know if the extra weight hurt your truck parts, or if they were just getting worn out over time.

Well the issues I had with my drag link bolt have been resovled. I went with a fine pitch tread, different joints, and double nutted everthing with locktite and lock nuts. The rear servo has been installed and works great. The truck has run without issues with a ton of abuse over the last month or so. All that was finally showing up Sunday. I'm spending the week going thru everything.

Stylin', I'll be there. My Rig might not be ready, though. Who do I talk to to sign up w/NORCAL? I live on the Peninsula and am new to the RC Crawling scene. Looking forward to it.

Come out to the event, bring what you have, hang out, have fun, talk with people, drive other people's rigs, share ideas, eat food, drink liquids.. As you can see, it's a real tough hazing ritual to join Nor-Cal RCRC. We look forward to meeting you out there.

-Sam

Oh I almost forgot. No nicknames like "Nluvwithdogz" or was it "Nluvwitchomomma"..... no..... shoot. Just keep the nickname simple. Then we don't have to resort to verbally whipping you with mental images of Badger's hard nipples on a cold day. You don't want to go there.
