Now THAT is some funny ****. Actually, I think we have the same cheezy rain coat

However, my rig isn't big enough to be sporting a Magnum XL Condom for a vehicle body.

Sadly, I just finished (sort of) my rig just now. All before the stroke of midnight. I think that is a record for me. I put it together earlier tonight and was about to put it away when I turned the back wheel. It appears I chunked up my differential in the rear. It was still holding, but it seemed like it was about to go. So I spent the last hour or so replacing the differential. So as I finished, I turned the front one and noticed something similar. Great, my front is gone too. Well, I am too lazy to fix it now, so chalk me up for 5 penalty points sometime tomorrow for repair work. Damn it sucks being such a good procrastinator sometimes.

See you guys there. Look for a Honda and a silver Ford F series truck on the side of the road before you reach Bean Hollow. It will be in a very slight down hill left hand turn on the right side. Once there, walk down to the beach and turn left. We should be within visual range from where we park actually, but just in case, that is where we will be.

It's pouring outside right now, so it is definitely going to be an interesting comp.

With all this extra time before the comp, it is time to fire up a game of RedAlert2. Nothing like a little vintage gaming before some crawling.

Bernie - What do you mean you are just starting? I thought your rig was ready?

Mike - Let me know if you need anything. I have an extra trash bag you can use for covering up.

Hey, is it raining as hard at your house as it is at mine? I think my termite infected back porch is going to fall down under the weight of these drops falling.

Yeah for those that missed this one, missed out on not only series points, but great weather and rock crawling. Thank you Bean Hollow once again for the great weather. I pray to you oh great one for you have been oh so good to us.

I just stepped in the door. I will have to get with Badger for the scores. I am not sure if I took one of the binders home or not. Will find out shortly. First things first though. The kitchen calls.

Thanks everyone. That was some good stuff and the trail ride just made my day.

Had a blast! Awesome terrain, great weather, and a great turnout of competitors. I think we actually had more Supers than 2.2's this time...

the trail ride at the end was great!

^^yes, yes^^ much fun today! what a blast. we finally made it to the south end of bean hollow, losing people along the way. when we started the trail ride, i was running tail gunner behind at least 6 other crawlers. by the end, it was sam, bernie and myself. what an awsome day! see you all next time.

p.s. dont forget to wash out the salt water from everything!

Overrev - I can't believe you didn't make it down. You were just down the road from us at that point and the comp was still going. Sorry we missed you. Your rig looks like you would have done well.

Kickback - I don't have the score sheets, so we will have to wait until Badger posts up. If I recall, you had some of the best scores of the day. Your consistency might have paid off well. Sorry about you catching a cold and got so wet. The California weather can be so brutal. With those blue skies, warm weather, and 30 second sprinkle of rain. That was so tough
