This event has been cancelled and is now scheduled for December 4TH.

We will be moving the date to Saturday, December 4th. The weather reports are getting worse as the week has passed. They are expecting 1"-5" of snow all over reno and sparks from what we can tell. We discussed moving the location, but for all we think its best to call this one. We would love to set up a competition on top of the snow, but we dont want to set up courses and then it snow all day. That will make it unfair and we want it to be a level playing field for all. I hope everyone understands. Thanks.

Exit 28 motorsports and 775RC have teamed up to bring you an all NEW competition area. For those of you who are not familiar with Exit 28 Motorsports or "Giants Throne". Exit 28 has been host to the CALROCS rock crawling series, Xtreme Outlaws Desert race, the LIVFAST Motorcross track and recently the 2010 King of The Hammers stampede Desert/Rock racing event.

775RC is happy to have them come on board as a sponsor.

So why are we so excited? Exit 28 park has enough rock to run courses there for the next 5 years and never drive the same course twice! We can expect some awesome competitions at this offroad play ground.

We would like to ask everyone who is interested in getting into RC crawling or possibly getting back into it, to please read the 775RC's current rules and class requirements that are posted at the top of this forum. It says a little about us, and why we are here.

775RC knows that these are toy cars and crawling needs to be fun, or why bother doing it.

Fun means fair. Our judges will always err on the side of the driver. We believe competitions big and small should not be decided by judging errors, but be decided by drivers talents. Our judges have experience judging at bprca, rconn, and other major events. So don’t worry we will do our best to take the judging out of it.




Here are all the boring details:

Location: Exit 28 off I-80, Giants Throne!

Time: Saturday, December 4th, sign ups start at 9:00 am and end at 9:30 am.

Competition starts at 10:00.

Classes: 2.2 PRO, 2.2 Novice, Maxstone spec class, Rock Racing after hours if time permits, and nibble pliz!

Courses: Each class runs four courses.


Entry Fee: Each class is only $10.00 if you pre-register, Kids 12 and under are FREE if pre-registered,

California Drivers are 50% off for their first two events!

Directions: Heading East on I-80, Exit 28, Patrick Road is approximately 8 minutes past the Sparks, Vista exit.
Go right on patrick, over the rail road tracks and continue right to the designated parking area.

INFORMATION:
Only four wheel drive vehicles are allowed up the hill. You may bring a fullsize crawler, quad, motorcycle, etc to get up the hill. Once at the top of the hill, vehicles can NOT be driven. If you need assistance getting to the top of the hill, we will have truck running back and fourth.

PRE-Registration

In an attempt to have 775RC run smoothly as possible, we are going to ask for pre registration. The point of the pre registration is to give us an idea of how many competitors will be attending so we can make the appropriate changes to the courses and have the proper amount of judges present. If you Pre-register online for upcoming events, the entry fee for each event will only be $10.00.

Kids under 12 are FREE if they Pre-register!
California Drivers first two events are 50% off.
Day of sign ups will be $5.00 more per class.

So, Please pre-register.


Pre-registration is a simple 5 steps.
1. Copy and past the most current sign up list.
2. Click reply to post.
3. Paste the copied post into your reply.
4. Add your name, and online name in the classes you are going to run.
5. Please remember to add to the total # of pre-registered drivers at the bottom.

We have to move the location. Not the date, Just the location.

Due to the rain this weekend, exit 28 is not going to work for round 2. The steep hill combined with silt will make it nearly impossible for us to travel up and down the mountain.
This is the main reason for the cancellation of last months event, not because it would be cold. Exit 28 events will be postponed until summer.

The location is now moved to University Ridge Park. We have posted a map to the new location below. I hope you all understand. WE ARE VERY SORRY!
