Default 2011 Nevada National Invite "meet in the middle" Crawler Death Match

The RCC Nationals are getting closer and every club in the country is having their National Invite Shoot Outs, except Nevada. Nevada is holding the 2011 Nevada National Invite meet in the middle crawler death match. With the top drivers from the southern part of the state and the top 10 drivers from the north part of the state Tonapah, NV may never be the same.

The 2011 Nevada National Invite “meet in the middle” Crawler Death Match is open to any driver who wants to get some great comp experience in before Nationals, but only the top 10 drivers in the point series from the North and South have the honor of earning Nevada’s National Invites.

Tonapah, NV will be the location for this first time ever event, because Area 51 was booked with alien weddings this time of year and those pesky greys kept bitchin’ about date changes would take light years. Boo-hoo E.T. we got plans of our own and with the help of Lets Handle It, (Steve), Comp Central is the infamous Clown Hotel.

For a cool comp experience, find your way to Tonapah, NV on Saturday, June 18 2011.

Here’s the intel;

2011 Nevada National Invite “meet in the middle” Crawler Death Match.
June 18, 2011
11 2.2 Pro Courses
Comp fee $10.00
Clown Hotel…775-482-5920 directions:http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...e=UTF8&t=h&z=8

Top 10 point earners for Nevada:
  • 2011 R2R Winter Series Champion Randy Howe
  • Parker
  • Jeremy Clark
  • Brad Bailey
  • Mindy Howe
  • Stuart Gartner
  • Rusty Jackson
  • Jeremy Keyes
  • Mark A.
  • Cory Hunter

Great driving Northern Nevada Drivers! The commitment to 10 comps every 6 month series or 20 comps per year shows an unequaled dedication and I would be proud for any one of you drivers to represent Nevada in the Nationals!

Attention: There will be NO bonus points of any kind to any driver. Show up and drive. We all know what is at stake here and if you don’t finish first or second, don’t worry, there is always the Nationals LCQ.

Steve will post the top 10 Southern drivers soon.

Good Luck to everyone and lets put the first 2.2 rubber to rock in Tonapah, NV.

When making room reservation at the Clown Motel ask for Bob he is the owner and tell him you need one of the rooms saved for the Nevada State crawler runoff and give him my name Steve Slavin.

This should be a great comp with uncharted virgin rock and of course the world famous wild man big dog himself DRIVNMF (Parker). What more can I say north versus south in football why not with crawlers too.

#7, 8 and 9 should be in the south crawlers top 10 - Steve will confirm this - but were plannin on flanking the north from the east and enjoying a little rivalary fun

Are we really running 11 2.2 courses? If so - how many gates in each course?

BTW I graduated from UNLV - so bring it (yeah our football team sucks - I know)

Its not like running 11 courses. At a regular comp it would be like running 6 or 7 courses. It would be nice if it could start at 10:00 or so for people that have to work late on friday and have to leave sat. morning.

I will check with Parker on Monday. He did not stat how many gates on each course either so he will need to fix that.

RECON will set 4 courses and Sin City will set 4 courses for a total of 11 courses. (Parker Math 101)

Drivers Meeting will start at 0900hrs.
Comp will start shortley after Drivers Meeting.

For the top 10 drivers of each clubs respective series, this is for Nevadas State Invite to the RCC Nationals in Las Vegas. This is not a local comp, lets be prompt and ready to crawl on time.

We are going to have a lot of fun and this is the first time that the two Nevada Clubs have come together for a comp. Yet again, we are making crawling history.

Good luck and drive safe. We will have early reg at the clown motel starting around 2030hrs.
