Aaron, I went through your list. very well done. I made a few revisions to bring to your attention and have a few questions?

• Vehicles must resemble a real 1:1 rig and it will be up to the collective group to vote on whether a questionable rig is accepted or not.

Is this something that will be done at the comp or can it be done online like last year?

• Winching can only be performed off of natural objects (i.e. trees, rocks, ect...), other vehicles or stakes supplied by the course maker. Winching off of a person such as there shoe or hand is not allowed.

What about use of a Pull Pal from a natural object?

• A front bumper is required and must be mounted to vehicles rail chassis and wider the(n) the chassis (chassis cross rails do not count as bumpers)

• 3D engine: -4.

What about a 2D engine?

• Winch -2 Each

Does this include a servo winch without a dummy winch but has the fairlead or rollout?

And finally, does a permenent light bar bracket welded to the frame rails count as part of the height of the vehicle? I think that this should be concidered as so because it is a part of the truck and not an added on accs.

you can post up online to ask if your truck or anything else would be legal

if you want to use a pullpal you can but it has to be carried on your vehicle during your entire run

no point for a 2d engine

if its functional it counts

If a lightbar is above the upper windshield frame it counts welded or not. if your lights are inside the cab or below the roof line it does not count

Ummm , I wouldnt call them scale. they look sort of familiar with the patern, but they are not a scale replica of the tire. thats just my opinion

Neither is a Pitbull."thumbsup"

The Rocker and the Rock beasts share the same tread pattern and just about the same spacing which is only slightly different due to the type of rims we run in RC. Ohh and the Rock beasts have open lugs because its a cross breed tire built for Scale and Comp.

That IMEX tire is just an open lug tire. the lugs dont even really share the same patern, just the same configuration. and the spacing is way larger then the actual tire.

Honestly, is this really scale looking? Imeanits like a 1/2inch of spacing

Not trying to argue, but just want to get my point across. But come on, you can't possibly say that this

Resembles this

Anymore then a red rock resembles some southern creation. The argument that its by the same manufacturer is not a valid one to me. Also arguing that it is ok to have an open lug because it is a cross bread doesn't offer any more scale appearance to me or the community. And in reality the spacing on the pitbulls is just as off as the Red Rock, I just want to understand the justification from the rules people to why the tire is not allowed when there are 1:1 tires that resemble it just as much as some other legal rc tires.

I don't understand people that don't think the 1:1 version looks like the R/C version. They are almost exactly the same. Same lug shapes, just a little more spaced out. The hollow lugs are obviously different, but anyone could do it on the 1:1 tire with a tire grooving tool. Plus, the Rock Beast is MADE BY PITBULL. What's more scale than a tire made by the actual manufacturer?

Are red rocks even a 2.2 tire? I don't even remember them?

I think everyone had a set around 2006/2007 and tried to make them work as a comp tire.

They work really well in the snow. Pinch, I figured that you'd have a couple of sets mounted up for the winter.

I think I ignored imex as a viable tire manufacturer after the k-rock came out and failed back in, 2005(?).
