had fun at comp, did kind'a good this time. to bad 2.2 was missing in action(fried esc , next time.) like judging, but score keeper needs to stay focus on whats going on and only writes what caller say and not have other players disrupting him during runs. (saw a few times when points wasn't written down because other's were talking to him when runs were going on, also i know everyone wants to watch but we need to stay off the marked coarse areas) maybe have to stress some rules at next comp just to make it easier for everyone:-P

I had fun too! But I think the video needs to be reviewed in the 2.2 class because points don't match up with what I seen. Saw a lot of touch & repositioning, fixing.... that wasn't marked down. Other than that, AWESOME crawl guyz!! Congrats Jon & Sheldon!!

yup i had a great time not being there but when i did compete i am glad the glitch won but it was good to see everyone. be prepaired for the next comp........rockraider is on horizon

Ok, here's what I saw & my take on it.

There was quite a bit of repairs, but they are all on the score sheet.

I also seen people talking to the scorer. When I judged(4-5 times) everytime I called a penalty I looked him in the eyes so that he knew. If you didn't make sure he knew that's your fault. If you saw missed calls & didn't speak up that's your fault. Don't speak up after the fact, say something when it happens. That way we can address it then.

As far as people on the course, I would like a little less clutter there too, but everyone wants to watch. Where do we draw the line? As long as no one moves rocks or gates, I see no problems. It's not like we're racing, going 40mph, we move slooooooow.

Remember guys, we're just starting & mistakes will be made. Feedback like this is only gonna make us better, so suggestions are welcome.



Anyway, I had a great time too & BIG thanks to Dan, who just so happened to have a spare pede tranny in his truck.

hope i didn't offend anyone about what i said. and i'm not crying because i didn't win, even if i came in last place i wouldn't be upset about it. it's about the fun in doing something like this that counts. it was just some observation on my part and just wanted to make a suggestion about making the comps better and fun for everyone.:-P

overall i enjoyed hanging out with everyone even with the slight delay due to the rain and not competing.

had a chance to test out my 2.2 rig for the first time and leared alot about it. hope to get it more tuned by the next comp.

No, not offended. My post might of seemed harsh & that was not my intention.

I got a call on tuesday from someone that has posted in this thread saying "poeple are complaining about the comp". So I responded to the issues stated.

If anyone wants to step-up & take on some of the responsibilities of running this club & putting on the comps to make it "better" please let me know. I'm getting tired of doing mostly everthing & do not want to deal with complaints. It borders on unappreciation.:?

I'd like to just show up, play, & go home too.

At the comp my girl friend and i had a blast and yah i see where u are coming from DTP and i give u mad props for what u do for all of us just to have fun,so all i have to say is that lets try to help DTP out (not with trans ) but let DTP know whats going on cause DTP has only 2 eyes and 2 ears( or does he?) and just for all of our sake its our comp and club so lets have a goodtime!!!!!!!!
