I think that we will be ok.

So this will be going down, even if it's in the rain?
Shane_744 is easier to spell.

Remember the LCQ at Nationals last year? Ponchos, clear tape and plastic bags made a national comp possible in the rain.

Yessir. Didn't phase me much.

I was just asking cause I am down to comp, unless it's like Hurricane Gustav over there or something.

I'm down also. If some people don't make it it's no big deal... this can be their throw-away comp for the series if they choose.

How are you guys coming up? I have a place to crash for anyone that wants to come up friday night and hang.

If it is going to be wicked raining, I might pass. Don't want to jack electronics up a week before Midwest. We'll see. I'll have to put my meteorological cap on saturday morning.

Forecast looks better this morning....down to 80% from 90%. Radar looks spotty as of now for a 60% chance today. Keyword for tomorrow's forecast...shattered t-storms.

Most of us know that Arkabutla Lake has two areas to compete at... the Island and the Beach. We will be comping on the island instead of the beach tomorrow. The island rocks are much more predictable when they are wet. The directions posted in the first link are still good and they will take you to the island parking area. You will know that you are in the right parking area because you will be able to see the Island from the parking spot. If any of you need my phone number send me a PM and I can help you get there.

I like the island. I spanked some arse there last year. Everyone'll have it easy now without me competing. I'll pack my Hello Kitty boots and umbrella.

The wind and the cold whooped our asses. Well, at lest mine. We had about a 10 minute delay after course #1 was ran b/c of a little rain. Other than that, the rain wasn't to big of an issue.

Believe the standing was:
Ashton
Ross
Corky
Shane
Casey
