ETRC May Comp #5

When: Saturday May 14
Where: Montlake Golf Course (Soddy Daisy TN)
Time: Course Building 9:00 AM
Start: 10:00 AM

We will run whatever classes we have enough entries for... But for sure we will run 2.2 Pro. Hopefully sportsman, and maybe Supers.

3 courses and a final. Each course will be 7 gates 5 minutes.

We will run USRCCA rules.

Directions

http://maps.msn.com/directionsFind.a...cnty2=0&unit=0

It's about 15 minutes from Brians Hobbylands previous location.

This is a new place with 100% shaded crawling areas. The rock is huge with canyons and cliffs which makes it a little tough to find 2.2 territory... but we found some. Supers will love this place. Parking will cost $5 for the day... but no charge for the comp. There are bathrooms and a clubhouse with refreshments, food, beer, etc. We are welcome there, you just have to sign a waver at the clubhouse since rocks are dangerous. (go figure). It is a 2 minute walk from the cars to the courses, (we timed it) Not far, but not like Carters Dam either.

Park in the lot, go to the clubhouse, sign a waver, pay $5. Follow the trail to the left and below the clubhouse and look for the ribbons on the trees or the chalk on the rocks. Take your batteries with you!

We hope you can make it "thumbsup"

Hope everyone weathered the storms OK. We were without power for 28 hours. Lots of damaged homes and downed trees. It totally detroyed two communities around the Chattanooga Area.

Really bad stuff.

Sill without power on lookout but no damage to the house we got lucky the f4 that hit Trenton missed us by a quarter mile. That's not much considering it was almost a half mile wide
