| Northern California USRCCA State "Crawl-Off" - June 4, 2011
It's time for our end of season crawl-off to see Northern California's top drivers battle it out for the 2 invites to the 2011 USRCCA Nationals in Las Vegas, NV! This year we have 5 USRCCA sanctioned clubs eligible to send drivers to the state crawl-off.
Date: 6/4/11, 8:30 AM tech / 9 AM start Format: 1 day, Up to 8 courses plus a top 5 finals course. We will use a bonus point system as follows; Top 5 from each series will receive bonus points for the day based on their finish position in their respective series. This bonus will be applied to your total event score. 1st = -5 2nd = -4 3rd = -3 4th = -2 5th = -1 *If a competitor qualified in more than one club series they will recieve bonus points based on their best finish position for one club only. Location: Stanislaus National Forest (Eureka Valley Campground) in Dardanelle California 95314 http://www.publiclands.org/explore/site.php?id=7467 All invites please post up if you are attending! Let us know if you plan on camping Thanks to drumbeater for sugesting the location! USRCCA GUIDELINES States/Regions that have MULTIPLE sanctioned clubs will have a Nationals Crawl-Off before National invites are sent out. Each club will send will its TOP 5 Drivers to a mutually agreed upon location. Each Club will build an equal number of course, and the winner(s) go to Nationals. Failure to reach a mutual agreement will result in that state/region forfeiting all its bids! Each club participating its states Crawl-Off will need to have its series completed by June 1st each year. Then sometime in June the state crawl off needs to be held, so you can turn in your states Nats bids on July 1st. If for some reason the 1st and/or 2nd place driver cannot accept the Nationals Invite in maybe passed down to the next highest ranked driver with in the Top 5.This applies to all club invites determined by Crawl-Off or Point Series as described above. Clubs are required to run a minimum of 4 competitions for each class they want to qualify for Nationals between Jan 1st- July 1st or prior to its State/Region Crawl Off. For the record it has always been my position that the top 5 are invited to the crawl-off. Arkansas does this format and the club leaders in Northern California liked the idea and agreed to implement it. | |

Just want to verify event location. Your link shows a Pinecrest location and a 95364 zip, Dardanelle is further Northeast, with a 95314 zip?

| OK. Sorry, realized the ranger station was at Pinecrest. One more thing, will we have to waterproof? Just need to know what to be ready for, hard courses are expected, but fried electronics can ruin the whole day. I'm sure quite a few of us are not waterproof as of now. Thanks.

| From looking up the address you listed we are actually really close to Strawberry and Pinecrest, CA Danendale, CA is still another 22 miles up the hill, just want to make sure we all end up in the same place for the comp.
