Comp Location


From Newnan/Coweta County:
Highway 29N to Palmetto. Left at traffic light in Palmetto onto Toombs Street. Follow Toombs to Hutcheson Ferry Road. Right onto Hutcheson Ferry; follow it past the peach orchard. Right onto Cochran Mill Road. Stop at the Cochran Mill Park and park, walk across to the other dirt road, keep walking till you get down to the waterfall.

From Peachtree City/Fayette County:
Highway 74N. Cross over I-85. The name of the road will change to Virlyn B. Smith Rd. Continue straight to dead-end. Left onto Rivertown Road. Follow Rivertown to 3rd stop sign. Left onto Cochran Mill Road. Stop at the Cochran Mill Park and park, walk across to the other dirt road, keep walking till you get down to the waterfall.

From Atlanta:
I-85 South to Exit 69 (Old National/South Fulton Parkway). Stay left and follow South Fulton Pkwy. approximately 15 miles to Rivertown Road. Turn right onto Rivertown Road. Follow Rivertown about 2 miles to first stop sign. Turn left onto Cochran Mill Road. Stop at the Cochran Mill Park and park, walk across to the other dirt road, keep walking till you get down to the waterfall.

From Douglas County:
Highway 166 toward Union City. Cross the Chattahoochee River and turn right at the 4-way stop onto Cascade-Palmetto Highway. Then turn right onto Cochran Mill Road. Stop at the Cochran Mill Park and park, walk across to the other dirt road, keep walking till you get down to the waterfall.

A few of us our going to be heading to a scale spot called Line Creek after the comp if anyone would like to come to the comp and follow over there. Its a short drive and an awesome spot "thumbsup"

Congrats on the win, Donnie. I would also like to thank BTF for the help as well as the two above final's course. That was an exciting final, to see Nick at the 1st bonus and almost slip into the left gate then Donnie's at the same place and riding the edge. That was for the win or not, water only inches away and slippery rocks. "thumbsup"
