Here it is...our 8th club comp! This location is another new one for the club although a few of us have been here a time or two but I don't believe anyone has set up any gates. The traction is incredible and although there might not be any shade on the rocks...there is some nearby as well as a river to cool off in.

We'll run a traditional style comp here due to the limited space and the fact that it wouldn't be in anybody's best interest to chase a rig around at full speed here.

Schedule:

Course building starts @ 8:30 am

Drivers meeting @ 9:45

Comp STARTS @ 10:00

Number of courses will depend on layout, but we will run at least 3 courses and a finals. We may run 10 gates instead of 7 too.

Closest Physical Address:

551 Burnt Tanyard Rd
West Union, SC 29696

Location Map - Park at Green Arrow and walk WEST or UPSTREAM (to the left on the map)

holy chit. looks like 140 mile form my door step so we may have to sit this one out fellas. i will have to let you know closer to the comp date.

Well sorry to hear that Todd...it's 200 miles from my place. It's a nice ride though. This one should make it easier on the GA guys that have been a great support for us the last couple comps!

holy crap guys, sorry. I cant make this one. I didn't see how far away it was. 138.3 miles from home.. I've got the motors being install to be ready for the next comp though.

It's a VERY short walk...and shaded. It's downhill to the comp spot and follows a Jeep trail to the river. That brings up a good point...PLEASE do not drive down to the river while we are there for this comp. If I was taking a vehicle capable of doing it I would be VERY tempted to do so, but let's just not go that route during the event. Thanks
