shootout

How much does this one cost?. So what's the payout for the podium drivers?. Spend so much in this hobby, and never get a chance to win some back.

For those out of towner's that are used to warmer weather, I'd suggest jackets as the temperatures usually start out in the mid 50's in the morning and theres usually a light off shore breeze. Generally mornings are overcast as well. I'd also suggest shoes with ankle support as the sand will drive you nuts and these rocks aren't exactly easy to climb around on.

Hope to see you all there!

kev, fee's are posted on eventbrite and the first post here, included in that fee is a t-shirt and swag and ultimately the chance at taking home one of 3 trophies, as to a $ payout would be great, it alway's brings a whole new level of monster out in competition !
i've alway's thought of doing an added payout would be great, but as i have finally learned this hobby we pride ourselves in being the best at, is all about fun, and a cash payout in my opinion would only put more strain and stress in competition and judging.
and we all know how hard it is to get volunteers to take the abuse of driver's hollerin,
"what i hit that gate"?
"that was'nt a reverse judge"
"what rollback"
"what do u mean i hit my foot"?
and the list goes on !
add $ into the mix and the judges/volunteers will no longer be there !
and i don't want that to happen !

RcBro 08-20-2011 08:54 PM

Sounds like fun, wish we could attend!

Will the 2.2 sportman and Pro courses be in different locations?

Will we be able to compete in both classes, If we pay? Or do we have to choose 1 2.2 class?

SoCo Crawlgirl 08-22-2011 08:59 PM

You may only compete in pro or sportsman, not both, sorry. And no MOA's allowed in sport.

sococrawler 08-22-2011 09:41 PM
