Course Building...

I will be making the 2.2 courses with whoever can help me.

Cavie98 will be making the 1.9 courses.

Can I get a volunteer to show up early enough to set up 2 Sportsman courses?

Thanks

I can also be there early. I'll have enough markers for 36 gates with me too.

You want me to just come by and pick you up? I'll be passing close to your house anyway.

No thanks. I appreciate the offer but I may already have a couple of people riding with me to open up more parking. "thumbsup"

Bring some clipboards if you have them. And timers if anyone has them.. "thumbsup"

Just one or a whole set? I have a couple of spare 4" bigbores.

Heads UP !!

Watch this thread!!!

They are doing road work on the gravel road to the comp site. Dump trucks and road graders are going up and down the road. I have to find out tomorrow if they are working on the road on Saturday. If they are, I don't think it would be safe to have that many cars parked on the side of the gravel road.

Tomorrow evening I will post for sure if we are sticking with this location.

If we move, it will be just 10 minutes farther down Hwy 64 at the Ocoee Whitewater Center. You can't miss it on the right.

LOOK HERE tomorrow evening to find out for sure.

I don't think rain will be an issue.

Take 75 south from Knoxville to exit 20. Left on exit 20 for several miles to US 64 east toward Ocoee. Stay on 64 until you get there "thumbsup"

LOCATION CHANGE]

We will be at the whitewater center. Just stay on hwy 64 about 10 more minutes and it will be on the riverside. Plenty of parking... no gravel.... restrooms.

I just got off the phone with the forest service. There will be heavy dumptruck traffic on the gravel road to the place we had planned for originally. They are grinding the bedrock under the road smooth to make natural pavement they said. Sounds like it would be a dangerous situation if we parked along the gravel road.

The white water center will work for this comp. It is unchanged by rain (no soil all rock) so the rain we get today won't mess anything up for tomorrow... and we won't have to worry about our cars getting squashed by heavy equipment.
