Default SARCCA Season Finale comp & camp extravaganza...and BBQ 12/11

Where: Willow Springs N Oracle Rd to E Willow Spring Dr - Google Maps

Date: 12/10-12/11 (Actual comp on 12/11)

Time: Sunday comp...course setup begins @ 8am, drivers on course at 9am.

We are going to give the new spot another chance and hopefully we don't get rained out this time. We will be camping again for all who wish to attend. There are no bathrooms, amenities, or ANYTHING within 15 miles of the comp site so if are are planning to camp be prepared to be completely self sufficient.

There is a very good Mountain bike trail that runs through the camp area and makes a 20 mile loop. Some of us will have bikes and may do a ride on Saturday. The area is also a perfect area for a scale run or G6 style comp if anyone wants to do something along those lines also.

Since this is our season finale and we usually do a BBQ I figured a cookout after the comp Sunday would be fun. I was thinking that to make it easy we could just arrange for someone to bring a grill and everyone can bring whatever they would like to have cooked instead of doing a potluck style meal. Let me know what you think on that subject.

Comp will be same as usual, 6 courses, 3 classes. Pro, pro-shafty, and sportsman.

Hope everyone can make it out for the comp if not the whole weekend.

should be a month or so after the new year. Schedule has not been looked at yet.

should give you plenty of time to get a rig together....

For the comp, if not camping as well. It all hinges on when I can get back in town from my interview in D.C.

The weather channel is saying highs of 65ish and lows just above freezing. I'm down with that, the wife... not so much. I may be able to get the boys out there with me and leave her at home with the heater...
They have been wanting to get their MRC's out on the big boy rocks.

I think there is a marathon going tomorrow so allow yourselves some extra time to get to site as there could be delays on oracle rd.
