Location: The Ocoee Whitewater Center
If you have never been there, there is a $3 parking fee. This is in addition to the $5 comp fee.

We will Run...

2.2 Class - 4 courses
1.9 Class - 3 courses
Super Class - 2 courses
Sportsman - 2 courses

It won't take us long to clean up the leaves at the golf course. We did it in a few hours last year. I'm willing to go up and clean off the rocks after Christmas.

I should be able to get up there sometime and help clean it up. It would be nice to uncover some new rock up there.

I don't know guys. It was VERY bad. The leaves are deep and fluffy on the rocks and between the rocks. My truck fell off a rock and disappeared under the leaves. I also busted my butt several times when I stepped off a rock onto the ground that was really more rock under leaves.

I'm off the week after Xmas and have two gas backpack blowers I could bring?

Going to try to be at the comp but they are saying we will be working sat for few months. Going to go ahead and put in to be off the 28th and see what happens.

Sooooo what are you saying? We can't just stop having comps there. It can't be any worse than last year. :roll::mrgreen: Don't fret Beavis it will be ok:ror:

Seriously though we now have four of us willing to pitch in, that should be enough if we all bring our rakes."thumbsup" I don't think they will be ok with us bring leaf blowers though.

Lets plan a clean-up/crawl day and get er done;-)

The big difference between this year and last is that the leaves just fell. Laste year we went later in the season after the rain and climbers beat down all the leaves.

We can try. Can anyone go Monday?

I'm also going to swing up by the Chilohowee Quarry to get the skinny on what it's like up there now.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas !! The wife got me a new 7950 and some HR gears for the 1.9 so tomorrow I get some trucks back up and running.

Thank you Scott and Justin for going to the Golfcourse with me to rake leaves. We got plenty of rock open for the small and medium rigs. The supers use bigger rocks and I think there are plenty enough of those around for courses.

When you hit the trail into the woods, just keep right at all the splits and you will find us. It's not a horrible walk by any means, but bring all your batteries and any tools you need with you. You don't want to walk back and forth a bunch of times."thumbsup"

Just be sure to leave a breadcrumb trail and go right at the Ginger Bread House ??? :D ...

Yeah people refer to it as Little Rock City. Some call it the Rockmaze.

A couple of us will be headed up there around 12:00 or 1:00 today.
