Alright boys and girls this is the one you have all been waiting for.
You have heard rumors, seen the carnage and dreamed about winning the Tough Truck Challenge!! Well now is your chance. Coming March 31st 2012 you will get your chance to be crowned the champ of the TTC #2. Presented by Tapped-out and sponsored by AXIALRACING.COM

SOME of the rules....the BASICS

Rules may change before event (modified/added/deleted)

Vehicle Requirement Basics:
WATERPROOFING YOUR RIG IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
4 wheel drive
1.9 wheels or smaller - ALL custom made tires are ok provided they are not taller than 5" uncompressed. MUST FIT 1.9 WHEELS.
Keep it Scale
12.5" max Wheelbase
2 wheel steering
Must run same turn motor all day (ie: Tech in with a 20t motor and burn it up, must replace with 20t motor only)
Motor pinion gears are allowed to be changed between courses
Winch - I can say you will need it FOR SURE I would make something like a pull pal
Battery must be on chassis, not the axle (must keep same cell battery all day. ie: Tech in with 2s must run 2s all day)
Tube Chassis must have trans, battery and all elec hidden from sight (sides/top etc)
Tire changing between courses is allowed.
No Dig
NO SHORT COURSE TRUCKS
We would like to see you keep your truck technically "the same" all day. No gearing/electronics swapping allowed (except for pinion). The main idea is for everyone to show up with their truck and run it AS IS all day and see if it truly is THE TOUGHEST TRUCK.

Repairs:
On course repairs will be done on clock.
OFF course repair = DNF for THAT course. After your repair is done, you move to next course.
If you can't repair your rig you will get a DNF for any and all courses not finished.
Recovery tools must be carried on rig and then placed back on rig after each use. ie. pullpal, tow strap.

Judging:
Time score system:
Out of bounds = +1 min
Rollover = +5 min. If you can winch yourself over no time penalties
Flag Gate markers = +2 min
Winching = 0 min. NO winching to your foot, hands or other rigs.
Reversing = 0 min
DNF = Equals full time alloted for course plus any penaties incurred on course

SCALE ITEMS:
If you have 10 scale items or more you will get 5 minutes deducted from your overall time.
These items will be checked at tech in and must be in rig all day.
Scale points awarded as follows:
Hardbody = 5 points
Full interior = 3 points
Frame mounted servo = 3 points
Individual scale items = 1 point

MISC.
Recovery tools must be carried on rig and then placed back on rig after each use. ie. pullpal, tow strap.

SLED PULL
Weights will not be provided for use on vehicles.
Please keep weights looking scale (or keep them hidden, we don't want to see spare tire full of lead laying on hood or hanging from bumper)

Absolutely AMAZING :party2: ..... WCRCC would like to give a HUGE! thank you too Axial, it is just amazing what they do for the rock crawling industry, wither its donating kits to a large national comp or just hooking up an small 30 guy club event.
