Hey all,

There appears to be a slight chance of rain this Sat according to some computer. I don't think it'll rain but that's just me. Keep tuned to this thread Friday PM for the final call. If it's pissing Sat we'll have to delay or move the comp date. More later.

Hey y'all,

As of 9:30AM PST Friday Ramona is expecting scattered showers early Sat AM. We'll decide tonight by 9PM on the comp start time and will post here. These are the options we'll chose from:

1) Start on time at 9:30 AM.
2) Start at 11AM (allows weather to clear and let's DWray sleep in). In this case we can adjust the # of courses if necessary based upon attendance and how smoothly things are running with the daylight we have.
3) Cancel comp (very very unlikely so don't plan on this option, get your rig ready).

Please check back here tonight. I have most folks cell #'s so I will send a mass text as well. Feel free to post up or PM me if you have any questions. Remember some of the Ramona rocks are covered in lichens and moss and are quite slippery when wet...and they will be wet. Get your Moss Claws ready and wear shoes with grippy soles. Feel free to bring a popup if you have one.

I will have all of the SDRCRC gear with me tomorrow. I sent all buyers a text yesterday with the amount owed. Cash only please, exact change (Don!). No money, no gear. Everything came out great including Glenn's killer trucker hat!

I have been wrenching on my truck for the last 4 hours got everything together and the esc is not working. Another thing to buy.... I am going to try and buy one and still make it.


Does anyone know which hobby shop opens the earliest

I have a big clunky SV2: case, heatsink, and all. I believe it has one pair of standard 3.5mm bullets and no battery connecter. How you need to connect it to the motors, I don't know. Hopefully someone will bring a pencil torch, some wire, and some connectors! "thumbsup" If I had any of those things I'd solder them on for you right now.

Thanks guys for coming out making it a seriously fun day dodging rain and spinning wheels in the mossy mess. I'm stoked the weather turned out as nice as it did. Again every course but mine was great. Special thanks to DWray and Tomer for an awesome finals course. Once dry that rock gripped like it should. Thanks Team Debead (Bryce) for crunching the scores. I had a good time. I had more fun after the comp. Thats for the laughs after the comp. I need more work on my truck.
