Sorry about the solo driver being phased out. There is a lot of solo driver events going on these days, so we decided, since this is a team event and it is difficult for us to match up and keep track of solo drivers, that this is how we are going to run it for now on.

Why don't you just have a list of solo drivers and when the comp comes the solo drivers pick numbers on whom they will run with. That would help the solo drivers get a partner for the comp.

Good call on that except for the fact that there are a very few solo drivers and if we end up with an off number of drivers, one person will have to sit out.
Seems easier to try and let people pair up on their own to avoid the confusion and mess of having to make pairs the day of the event.

They may have changed their date from the 22nd the 29th with in days of each other, but there was no separate thread for what is a separate event going by the name and there was no new sign up sheet posted until a few days ago...

You just have choices to make now.. Our date is set considering we have had to change our set date of the 15th for this month to go around the G6...

Sorry Adam, we thought it would be easy to do, but like 209 said, its a gamble for even numbers every event, and it is a team challenge.. We tried it and it just does not work for us. Just post up in the thread and I'm sure somebody will get back to you.

Nope, Lacey posted it up on the 25th of march!! I wish the dates didn't conflict. And the event was closer to sac. I can't swing this one, have fun everyone!!

Yes, same here Jeff... But that's good for all the people in your area that just can't make this drive to have a comp so close to home. We will try to make the next one.

I only the saw the Pioneer Scale Challenge thread for the 22nd when I made our flier, never saw the King of the Sierra thread until a couple days ago 4/7/12 was when it was posted.

Do you guys have 2 different team scale series going on at the same time as ours ???

I am going to talk with a few people and see if I can make this one. What if I run with a 2.2 and I'm running a 1.9 would that make any difference?

!!! UPDATE !!!
Due to a new conflict in dates with another event, this will only be event #3. No more double header. To many competitors will take to hard of a hit in the season point standings if they were to miss 2 events at once.

Event #4 will be held on our scheduled date of May 20th, 2012.

It's not easy and I just wanted to say THANKS FOR YOUR WORK!!!

The R.C.O.T.C and Area 916 Scalers original idea was to bring this comp to the general Sacramento areas and it still is, the area has just grown. Competitors have come from all around California showing support. This and the lack of new comp sites available in the Sac area that can accommodate the volume of competitors has caused us to have to go outside of our original 60 mile comp site radius to 100 - 125 mile radius for now. This will open up more, new terrain as well as bring some of us to places we normally would not venture adding to the experience. Our community has grown way outside of the 916 area code and is a mixture of friends from Redding to Fresno, out to the Bay and all the way back to Reno.. We will do what we can to minimize trip cost for all of us...
