The gate usually opens between 8:00 and 8:30. Our times are going to be based off of when we get in. If we don't get in until 8:30, tech will likely be at 9:30 instead of 9:00 to give us plenty of time for course building...

FYI

I would call you a sissy, but you WILL have a toddler (and I am talking about your daughter, not your hubby:mrgreen:) traveling with you, so I fully understand.

Re: ETRC June Comp #6

Allrighty...

Looking at the forecast for the week, there is a 40-50% chance of storms Thursday and Friday. I don't think it will rain enough to fill the river, but if it rains Thursday or Friday it could make the place a bit dangerous. The short trail into the creek is steep and would be muddy and the rocks in the river would be slick like cat crap on lenoleum. I don't want anyone to break ankles or bust tailbones.

So for now the location will remain Dayton, but our back up location might be Montlake (The golf course just down the road) It would be safer wet, it is near the original location, and the climbers have not been filling it up so much now that it's hot.

So keep an eye on this thread. Still Dayton for now with a possibility of a change due to weather.

The good news is the forecast says Sunny and a high of 77 for Saturday

Harvo...is this the correct address?

Highway 27 (from the south turn left) to Walnut Grove Road
Dayton, TN 37321

Its red light #8 in Dayton. Pass the lazy boy plant and keep on that road. Don't veer right. In less than 2 miles you will see a big brown sign on the right and a gravel road.

How loose is the gravel? I was thinking about riding the bike if Anthony can't make it.

If it rains Thursday and Friday you would be okay, it is just a little ways back in there with some stutter bumps, but you can dodge them. "thumbsup"
