Default Nor-Cal Competition Series - Event #6

Ok all you Nor-Cal crawlers. We are at the midpoint of the year and our final event for the first half of the year is about to begin. This is the last shootout before we start the slate clean for the next season. Do you think you can tame the Bean? Are you not afraid of a little salt water or torturous course conditions? If you thought the previous events were hard, wait till you see how we make Bean Hollow come alive with courses of skill and fun. So get your rigs repaired, solder those motor wires good this time, and charge up those batteries because the Bean Battle is about to begin.

So where is the Bean?
Bean Hollow State Beach
11000 Cabrillo Hwy, Pescadero, CA 94060, US
Remember, we will be parked along highway 1, North of the main Bean Hollow parking lot. It is approximately a 1/4 mile North from the Bean Hollow beach itself. So if you hit the parking lot, turn around and go back North again.

I'm looking forward to this event!

I'll be bringing out the BBQ, so what will be on the menu this time? Tri-tip roast? Badger's famous mini hot dog? Hamberglers? or maybe some pulled pork sandwhiches?

I am excited too. Since this is the final event of this season, we should have some really good courses laid out and different from the rest of the season with some surprises thrown in. It's gonna be good.

As for food, I am down for some burgers, mini badger weenies, or some filet mignon with a side of roast duck in sweet sauce.

The only way I can take you in this last event is if I hire the incredible hulk (mikey) to destroy your rig.

Awesome, it will be good to see your right hand.... or was that left hand.... bitch again.

Oh and one request. Please don't start eating those beans earlier than the event. I don't want to have to dock your score for gassing out the judge.

kinda off topic but, when does the second half of the season start? I would like to make this event but my rig isn't finished yet.

I took my kids (boxers) over to Half moon bay late yesterday to escape the heat at the beach. Man was it nice and cool over there! My nuts weren't the least bit sweaty.

It will probably pick up one month later. The only reason we are starting a new season is to give Sam a better chance at winning the title.

TMI man.... TMI

Yup, it's true. And if I win the first event of the second season, that will be the last event for that season as well. We will continue to restart the seasons when I am in the lead. It just makes it easier on me that way so I know that I can quit while I am ahead.
