801RCC 2012 Comp, Event #8 "August Afterburn"

With the summer in full swing, this is prime time for crawling, camping and other outdoor activities. Make sure you stay at the top of your game and come out to the "Afterburn" and show off your skills along with your latest tweaks and changes. Don't forget the other R/C's. 801RCC members are no stranger to Scale Rigs, Desert Trucks or any other form of R/C. You'll often find groups out on an Epic Scale run or kicking up dust with SC trucks, there are some very beautiful lakes just a stones throw away from camp. Of course hanging out and shoot the breeze is another great reason to come kick it with 801RCC at another premier crawling event.

40.687440, -110.904279

Bald Mtn is car accessible and has a small parking lot, with camping spots just around the corner. There is plenty of rock to throw down courses and still have tons of room for "Fun Crawling" or "Scale running". Bald Mtn is in the high Uinta's so the over night lows can dip down to near freezing and After noon thunder showers are common, so make sure to bring clothing and gear for cold conditions. With the heat of summer on full blast this comp should allow everyone to have a slight cool down.

(flyer coming soon)
