| Congrats to all winners. Thanks to all who showed up. This was our biggest turnout yet, and by the sounds of it, everyone had a good time. To all the out of ton guys; thanks for making the drive up here. As Freetime aluded to, I'm gonna be posting the results on the mnrcrockcrawlers website. But what we thought of, is to post not only the final scores, but also all the other points (i.e. reverses, gates, rollovers, etc.). We thought people would like to see how they did in each category. Let me know what you guys think. |

I think that would be great Kevin. Its great to see the break downs, do you still have the score sheets from the other comps?

Ohh and the scores in the 2.2 class are very close for the top 6 spots! And again we had a few new trucks show up, and some new faces. Now I just need to replace my front servo... Sucked that I killed that quarter scale on the bonus gate after the first course. First time I've had a truck taken out with a run still left. But it was fun to see my truck wrap up like a pretzel :-p |

Good to see my truck inspiring others, I know your TLT helped inspire me to make a twig chassis. I still can not believe at times how much tighter my TLT turns next to others. And good job on winning the 2.2 class with your TLT, it was a close one between us :-p I lost it on the Bonus gate that we had on the first course. |

Looks good, that should help quite a bit, though even with your steering before the truck was amazing :-P

| I'll be working on the breakdowns tonight and sending them to Nickelpimp to post on the MNRCROCKCRAWLERS.COM website. BTW Mike, let Erik know I found a mistake in his math on the 1st score sheet that took him from 6th to 4th |

Troy, I seen the updated scores this morning and called up Erik with the news. He was very excited about that, he is driving a lot better now that he has a few comps under his belt.

| Yeah, I was noticing Erik's driving getting better too! He was the only one to get a perfect on the second course! (at least in the standard 2.2 class... ) I'm glad to see him still excited in this club/sport; I can't wait to see what he does once he gets his clod built! |

You got some great pics Mnster, a lot of mine came out blury :-( But I still have plenty of good shots. I should have switched back to my other lens at after the first 2.2 course though. The lighting was also very harsh again, but I did finish processing all of my pictures in photoshop last night. I'll go through all of them tonight and delete the bad ones, then get the gallery loaded up on my site. Went to Jerrys after work last night to pick up a few parts, skipped on the servo for the jugg though. It also had the plastic gears. Got the steel yokes for the Bronco and fixed that, also found out that I did not spin a hex on that truck, but I lost a pin? I keep a bag of spares though, and replaced it. Then I pulled the horn off the quarter scale to look at the damage... I did not spin the splines off, but rather I snapped the splines right off the top gear. I am not sure yet if I will have the Jugg runnining again in time for the X games this weekend, I do have a servo I could toss in there but I am not sure if I want to yet... I'll see, though I might just run in the 2.2 class and bring the other trucks for show. Again though, pictures will be up tonight, sorry for the delay. I just ran out of steam last night after I went through all of them. |

A new gear set is under $5 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNB45&P=Z I'd love to go the 1/4 scale servo route, I just don't like the extra weight. If the X games was closer to me I would go. I lost like 3 pins at the campsite changing my tires around, well then again 2 Tyde did find one on June (the dog) that was sleeping under the table. |

Thanks for the link Mnster, but I have the Hitec servo with the karbonite gears. They run about $15 a set and I think i would rather get a servo with metal gears. The whole point of going quarter scale was to avoid ever having servo breakage again.... And the cheaper one will not do. I just have not decided what one I want to upgrade to yet. The money is not a issue right now, but limited on time. Ohh and thanks for getting some shots of my Bronco, I hardly took any of it... Ran out of camera steam later in the day. Edit: Ok the gears are $10... Maybe I will order a set up tonight. But either way I am still going to get a new servo with metal gears in it. Plastic gears suck!
