So just to let everyone know, if its raining on Saturday the comp will be canceled. When I say raining, I mean a down pour.

Dean if you are coming from the bay area take 580 thru Livermore and take the North Vasco exit. Go about a half a mile and turn right on Garaventa. Take a left on Hawk st. If theirs no room to park go to the school parking lot. Load your gear up and hike to the end of Hawk. Take a left along the houses and there is a place to cross the creek. Follow the trail along the fence and go thru the break and you are there. It is pretty much the same from the valley but when you come over the Altamont pass it will be before Livermore.https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=N...=ls&via=1&z=14

thanks for the info. I have been to that spot before but a long time ago, couldnt remember how to get there. Can someone let me know if its canceled due to rain, i'd hate to drive all that way to find out it got cancelled. Thanks! 408 718-1049
