801rcc 2013 Ultra4 R/C, Race #3 "Stateline 300"

Ultra4 racing is a concoction like no other. Ingredients can vary and every race is unique. It's finding the master mix that's sure to bring home the gold (or red in our case) Ultra4 has quickly claimed the title of the most hardcore R/C events around. Many drivers consider these events the most challenging to prep for and the hardest to win. Top contenders are known to spend hours or even days preparing for each event, and even then a bit of luck will go along way. So make a final check on your rig, load up the gear, peak your packs, and you might be the lucky one to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Double down!! If you are looking to make the most out of St Patty's day book a room at one of the nearby casinos or hotels, cause 801rcc is hitting the rocks Sunday too. That's right, ShamRock Showdown is Sunday. So make sure not to miss out on a great comp with your friends, family and 801rcc

Wendover has turned out to be a great place to play with R/C's and Ultra4 racing should be a premium. Many of the members come out and spend the weekend with their wives and not only enjoy some great crawling but also some good food, fun gaming, and maybe even some drinks. With amenities only a mile away makes this spot a premium. Come on out and enjoy a day of racing, then run just down the road and enjoy the evening of fun at the casinos.

• 2.2 Dog Tag: Finish with fasted over all time in the 2.2 class. Fly when you can but keep the penalties down
  1.9 Dog Tag: Finish with fasted over all time in the 1.9 class. Smooth and smart driving pay off
  Average Joe Dog Tag: Driver closest to the average time of finishers. Not to fast but not to slow is the key
  Theme Dog Tag: Driver with the best item or vehicle based on the theme of the race. Creativity might be best

**Mandatory**

• All drivers must have a timer, i.e. phone, stopwatch, etc
  All drivers must wear something green
  All vehicles must have a recovery strap or winch.
  ALL Vehicles must have 4 scale items, EXCLUDING mandatory strap/winch

**Not required but highly recommended**

• A few $$ for the donation box
  preping for wet conditions

**Theme**

• Theme for this event: St Patricks day
  All Drivers must post a pic of their rig in this thread before the day of the event
  ALL Vehicles must compete in the event with any and all items
  Voting will take place during the drivers meeting

BE PREPARED TO SWITCH BATTERY PACKS!!!! THIS RACE MIGHT CONSIST OF UP TO 300+ GATES

In true 801RCC fashion this will be a FREE event and is open to anyone running a Ultra4 legal rig (check the rules to make sure your rigs are in spec)
