BTW Joey, finished my K-rock's and tested them today. They're my new favorite tire! They work really good, I think maybe better than LST's.

Nope same old hard compound. I just cut the hell out of them. I cut ever other row of tread going across the tire. I work really well now. Maybe its just the rocks here.

Send 'em to me then I'll have two sets to experiment with. I've been carving on mine every night this week, the tread now looks more like a Savage tire than a K-rock! 8O After close to 9 hours of Dremel I think I'm done with them. They have potential. Once I started opening up the tread they came alive.

Nice hijack of a thread guys

I plan on camping at the site on Saturday night, crawling some Sunday morning, and the leaving around Lunchtime.

Maybe a mini-comp on Sunday morning?

I would defenitly like to come up there for this competition. I'm still waiting on alist of replacment parts from towerhobbies but will be ready by march. Any clue how long a drive it is from Auburn Alabama? If it's more 2 hours I might have to steal the girlfriends car. My dodge doesnt like the highway too much with its 10mpg

Hey, if you want to drive to Pelham it would be much easier. I have a 01 F-150. Its not a quad cab but its extended.

Joey, do you want to ride up there with me or are you driving?

Quick question for you guys-will my Max be able to compete with that 20+ inch wheelbase? Dont worry about the truck, just wondering if it's legal or not ;) Also what rules are we running?

Thanks!

I didn't see it-woops

I talked to fish about it the other night from what I can gather we're using the RCC rules? If we are I can't run the max, the wheelbase is set at 21-26"
