Sorry I didn't put up results last night, I left Augusta at 4am Sat morning and returned at 3am Sunday morning. The only reason I posted pics last night was because I had photoshop create the web gallery while on the drive back from Atlanta.. When I got home I started the upload, posted the link to them, took a shower and passed out. 9 drivers turned out for the comp. There was a good bit of carnage throughout the day broken axles, shattered servo horns, you name it. I even fell over a rock while getting ready to start course 2, landed on Jr, and (didn't notice it at the time for all the pain my leg was in) managed to bend both lower rear shock/link mounts. Not knowing this I went through Course 2 with the damage. Made Jr. hard to drive. Several drivers broke multiple axle shafts. Brutal courses but a blast to tackle. I even gave the Scorpion a bit of rock rash on Course 1. Overall results: (Jeff and his Clod sporting a CT decal won) 1. Rockcrawler (Jeff) 13pts 2. RXCrawler (Joey) 16pts 3. Firefighter (Mike) 17pts 4. KillerTXT (Kenny) 21pts 5. Fishmaxx (John) 24pts 6. Tie between Matt and myself with 25pts 7. Trip 27pts 8. CSR (Chris) 33pts Here's a few pics of the results of each course and the winners. A big thanks to the two local hobby shops that donated parts to the comp. Moabs, LSTs, 40 series Dirt Hawgs, Imex wheels, Revo shafts, Maxx Susp arms, a Bronco body, Pit box were divided up between the top five finishers. Congrats guys. The first course you ran was brutal, I felt bad for Tripp breaking those shafts on his first run. Wish I could have stayed a little longer and watched the carnage. Jason and Fishmaxx It was good to finally meet you and look forward to running with you in the future. When fishy and I were talking he brought up an idea which I will go ahead and toss out now. In short the wife and I are moving to the family homeplace in may and have a few acres to play on. Granted its not bucks pocket but I will have enough rocks there for a course or two if anyone is interested. If it rains we can move the course indoors to the workshop. Pick a date and I will take care of the rest. |

| I had a great time this weekend guys! Congratulations to everyone that won prizes, and Big Thanks to Thunderbird Hobbies for stepping up with some GREAT stuff (Moab's, LST's, Dirt Grips, Mashers, Revo shafts, wheels, Bronco body, ect.) I broke on two courses, maxx slider shafts both times. I would have placed in the top five if I didn't have those 10 points for repairing. :-( Revo shafts will be installed TONIGHT! ;) |

I had a great time this weekend watching everyone else break their trucks, just kidding . It was really nice to meet everyone and see all of Jason's cool trucks. Thank you to Tunder Hobbies, ABC Hobbies for the prizes, and to Kenny for all of his organization time.I hope to see everybody at Green River.
