VA-Scaler hosting 1st Camel Trophy Team Challenge June 1st, 2013

VaScalers is hosting the first ever Camel Trophy Scale Challenge.


The course will be over 1 hour long, with challenges that will include but not limited to mud-pits, bridges/floating bridges, winch hills, water, hill climbs. This event will be a team based event. Each team will have 3 members that will be randomly decided the day of the event. The main goal for this event will be helping your team complete the course in the fastest time, while progressing gates and obstacles.

To keep things on a level playing field we are going to keep all tire sizes as class 1. That just means the tires need to be under 4.19"

Waterproofing is highly recommended, as there will be creek crossings, puddles, and mud. Also, each team will need at least one truck with a winch, but the more winches the faster each team will be able to complete a tough obstacle. There will places where a winch will be absolutely necessary.


The event will be graciously hosted at Kunas' house.
