Because he's driving all over the country side running more G6s......

It was a killer event and I know ill be back next year.

I'm still trying to figure out why this is the gripe of all things to gripe about.....

Not griping. Just wanted to know. I appreciate all the effort put in by those that drive all over hell and back in the red truck. If some kind of results are coming then I will wait for them. If they are never posted it will not stop me from entering the next event.

What's the deal with picking the winners? What's that about?

Poor word choice on my part.
"Calculated" would be better fitting.

I also will come back without question next year.
I'll know to relax and not leave an ESC on/off switch in the truck....

As far as I can tell, at a G6 event the top drivers are given recognition and rewarded for the driving they did that earned them the top spot. Outside of that no results are ever posted.

My guess as to why....

Say I felt like I did good and I'm talking with pal about how I think I did good and was only so far behind the top drivers. Generally feeling pretty good about myself. Only to find out when results are posted that I actually sucked it up. Now all my good feelings are gone.

Say I feel like I did poorly and had some issues but with no results to say otherwise who knows. Maybe I did better than I thought and maybe not. Either way I know I want to do better next time. I know I wont have results telling me "Yep you sucked it up". No results, no friends back home asking "What happened" or " You got roughed up". It's just my adventure to share as I see it.

If I know I did good but wasn't on the podium I can truthfully share my adventure with pals and say "I was just off the podium".

Personally for the G6 I kinda like the fact that they don't post results. It make it feel less competitive for the masses and If you are competitive, just know that when your good enough to podium you'll get the recognition you deserve.

Well said. We all can stand back and think about how well you did when your in the pack and suddenly their all behind you and you come to the last gate and no one behind you in site. That's the feeling you have when you did good.

RCDriver magazine October issue has some coverage of Axialfest. Go see if you made it in there.

Well I'm finally tearing down the EXO. It had one hell of a summer. It got beat pretty bad at Axialfest, but she handled it like a champ. The Wraith got all the attention prior to the event and I totally spaced the EXO till we made it to Cisco Grove. Pulled it out before the Terra X and only then did I realize how beat she was. With no part or time to fix her she hit the TerraX track with blow diffs front and rear, bent chassis, multiple bad bearings, and a crushed front shock body that caused one of the front shocks to stay compressed. Even though it should have had some attention long before Axialfest she hung in there and stayed together and finished an epic race!!

Thanks Axial for all the good times I've had with this buggy and the many more to come.

Here is how she looked before I started my rebuild
