VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
SCX10 / Wraith based vehicles must have Axial axles, transmission(s), and stock SCX10 chassis rails or Wraith chassis in order to be eligible to compete. Truggies that make use of the stock SCX10 frame rails are allowed.
(sigh) You know, I hate to pee on the parade, I like Axial as a company, I think your a great bunch of guys, and I can understand the marketing and brand loyalty of this entire event. But if this is really not an issue, why include this wording in the first place? It just seems to add a bunch of confusion that nobody needs.
It's just kinda silly. How would you enforce this? And after I drop 80+ bucks for registration, plus camping fees, and gas, I'd like to see you guys try.
Honestly, I'm not taking this real seriously. (technically the only "original Axial" parts on my rig are frame rails and tranny plate, the rest are provided by local Nor Cal vendors, most of whom will be at the event.)
It's just that this wording just seems to bring up a lot of confusion, and doesn't put this company in a good light.
Just say'in.
See you guys in Cisco Grove

I remember the first event had a lot of people confused about what was allowed to run and what wasn't so they just didn't go. I missed last year but what Chris brings up is a good point. Then Brandon the page before says don't worry. So can you run a 75% axial rig or not? Is RC4WD transmission with VP front and rear axles ok to run? According to what's printed no but word of mouth is ok? It should be clear before guys get up there after spending the money to find out different at tech.

From my phone using my fingers.

Friday morning Fordyce trip anyone? My 1:1 wing man bailed and I'd rather not be up there solo.

The flow rates look favorable.

You're fine, as long as your rig is Axial based you are good to go.

Sorry guys, didn't want this mention of "confusion" to stir up more "confusion" than there already is. I'd elaborate more, but frankly the whole thing is "confusing".
