WTF are you talking about, celebrity? Maybe your getting a new ride, Chevy Celebrity?

I bet your trying to talk someone on this board who lives on the west coast or something into coming to KY. You don't know any REAL celebrities!

I'm down for camping, or whatever.

You don't know if TN is in the south east or not?

That's OK because I recently formed the TNRCRC. Members are myself and... well, me. I'm President of our club, also Secretary and Treasurer. We're a closely knit, diverse group of people that share similiar interest. The camaraderie among our group is unparalleled by other crawling groups/clubs.
We had our first comp today. I won, and lost, also placed second and third. It was Great, all the members cheering myself on as I whooped my butt! Priceless!
Afterwards, we all met back at my place and grilled steaks. Nothing like sitting around with friends eatin' good food, tossin' back a few cold ones and reflecting on the good times from the day of fierce competition.
We're currently in the process of developing a secret handshake that only TNRCRC members will know.
If any of you are interested in joining the TNRCRC just send in your resume to me or any of the other TNRCRC members. It doesn't have to be too detailed, just name, age, gender, social security number, drivers license numer if applicable, height, weight, hair and eye color, shoe size, sexual preference, etc. Oh, and a $100 processing fee, which, if recommended for membership can be redeemed for TNRCRC merchandise at our online store. LINK ;)

Congrats on your new found success! (That's a thumbs up in RCC talk ;) )

LMAO funniest thing I've read in months!

I honestly dont know if TN is included, geographically it is but from a "membership"
standpoint I'm clueless. Maybe one of the Georigia or Alabama guys could clearify if they happen to cross this thread?

There haven't been any TN events and that's my fault. I have looked all over for a cool place to host a comp or gathering and haven't found anything as good as Green River or Bucks Pocket. Somewhere around middle TN would be ideal for a Southern get together. That would be a just a few hours driving for everybody.... KY, AL, GA and me in west TN. I spent a day driving around Nashville, hitting all of the little state parks and public areas that I could find. Didn't find anything that could handle a decent sized event. I'm on it though, still looking......

I searched back thru some old post trying to find his hometown. He said he lived about 30 minutes from Wytheville on Hwy 77.

Then I tried searching Pirate4x4 for "Jeep MJ VA", I think I found him there, went by 'Grndhog',but that user hasn't been active since May '04.

I remember him giving the centers out of his narrowed Kongs to a guy here on RCC, maybe he saved Erick's shipping address?

Tracked down his phone number.

I'll give him a call tomorrow and let him know the plans.

I'd love to see him make the comps as well.

Jason,

If you get a hold of him let me know. I was planning riding with Erick to the first comp but couldn't because of work. I only live about 30 minutes from him and it looks like I will finally be able to make it to this comp, so if he needs a ride I can help out.

Called the number I tracked down for Erick, exact match on the address so I'm confident that I've got the right place.

Left a message, told him TJ was willing to haul him up if needed. No reply yet.

I forget what shift he worked... :?
