Sounds like a lot of fun. I hope PWT can get me my chassis before this event. If not I will come and watch.

my new rig is 16.5" which should be well in. ;)

Maybe you didn't get the memo, this is going to be a Team trials event. Not a fullsize comp. And just in case you are talking scale a 16.5" WB will be too long for this event.

Is the date set for sure? Lucie and I are taking photos at a wedding that day. However, the 20th looks clear for me. If I don't have a rig, I can be a judge.

sweet, only thing I don't like is rule #4. Simply because it's a little reatarded and would take a lot of time just getting the trucks lined up and then rolled over. Also what happens if the truck in the lead rolls over and there is practicly no way around for the trailing truck to get to the lead truck.

But, I'll still have fun even if this rule stays in. :-P

Before we set a definte place I'm going to take some pics of a potential new spot. It's up on Mt. Hamilton (east side San Jo). I can see it from teh road there is a lot of rocks, but I need to hike up and take a look around.

Would you guys be alright if it was on private property, pretty much no parking, and a lot of walking/hiking up a hill...?

Rule 4, what you are not understanding is that it's a team event you have a partner with you. He's either right in front of you or behind you. There is no time trying to get the trucks lined up. It's designed to be like real wheeling. You never go alone, unless you're a fool. Cuz you'll get stuck and have no one to help you. it sucks I've been there on a trail at 3am stuck without another rig for help.

Sam, the date isn't to flexible for me. I've got a swap meet on sunday to get rid of some bike stuff. Last year I made almost a grand so I'm not missing it.

the local is not set but I have an idea, I'm also open to more spots.

I think it is ok. But I think you should loose points if when you sneeze your body flies off!

Bummer. Oh well. Maybe next time. I know you will all be jealous because you only get to crawl while I get to take pictures at a wedding for someone I don't even know. :?

If you want to check out another spot, there is always that one I mentioned to you a while back in Santa Clara. If you want, lets hook up this weekend and I can show you, although I think you already know where it is.

Well So we have the rules, we have the date, so who's going. And Red it is a saturday and it's the 19th. So you'd better be there.

Registration will start @ 10:00
The Comp will start at 10:30

Is 14 1/2 inches acceptable wheel base? I may have to come down by myself. Is it possible to team up with somebody there?
