Scale Comp Plans

Here is what I'm planning. It may work great or it may not... but it will be fun.

1. You start any time during the day in teams of 2 or 3.
2. Each team carries a stopwatch. It starts when you leave and stops when you get back.
3. You are competing against EVERYONE including the people on your team.
4. Because you are against the people on your team, you will be keeping each others score.
5. Even though you are against the people on your team you have to finish together so it improves every team members time to help each other go quickly.
6. Teams of two will have to make a mandatory stop or two for a determined amount of time at the stops to equal things out with the 3 man teams.
7. You won't need major waterproofing... I don't have any. It may have some water, but not enough to get up to your electronics.
8. Penalties
   • Not going through a gate (straddling or bypassing) = 10 pts
   • Touching the truck to flip it over = 10 pts
   • Touching the truck to hook a strap to another truck = 0 pts
   • Not finishing within 5 ft of all team runners = DQ

That's it. Pretty easy. Ill have score cards, pens and stop watches. It won't be a foot race and it won't be forever long. You won't need to worry about heart attacks and strokes.

Oh... for final scores: Each new minute adds 5 points to your penalty score. So if you finish in 10 minutes, that automatically adds 50 pts to your penalty score.
(Example: You have 30 penalties on course and finish in 9 minutes an 40 seconds. You get 80 pts. for the course. )
Just one second over a round minute and you get the points for the next minute. (Rounding up)

I will start the day setting this up so I will need others to set up the 2.2 courses please. Any volunteers?

Sure... Twin Hammers, Wraith, JK, whatever. As long as its a scale something. Don't think you would want to run a comp truck on it.
