Hehe, that covers my solution. Man there was some nice stuff there too. Either way I would love to make it out to one of these, just to run.

If Axial "more than took care of you" then why keep complaining?

So you are saying there were bodies, tools, tires and wheels in some of the gift bags? I recall them being handed out during the raffle.

With all the name calling, it's almost like 3rd grade again.

If you are that upset about the grab bags, you can have mine. Don't think I even looked through it, just put it in my car and went G6'in!

Like Tree, I also helped Parker for the last two weeks on a long 5,000 mile road trip. I got paid zero. I was gifted zero swag. I slept on the ground on the side of the road multiple times. The other nights it was on someone's couch. I can assure you that Parker is not making huge money, if any, off of the G6es. Entry fees barely covered the gas bill. He does it because he loves it.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully now that Axial/Rodney has taken care of you and you have expressed your disappointment in the way the raffle was handled, it will be rectified in the future.

I am disappointed that there is so much tough guy posturing and name calling in this thread. I wish this could have all been handled in a more adult manner. Anyway, I hope this is finally squashed and we can move on with our lives.

See ya'll at the next G6.

I drove 5 hours into Ontario Canada for my first G6 event, there were roughly 140 gates. It was $25. It took about 4.5 to 5 hours to complete. I got to meet Parker and talk a little bit with him afterword. He with his team drove 36 hours to get to Vineland Ontario to set up the event. I didn't stay for to long afterwords I drove home. I had a great time, enjoyed it all, there were about 25 drivers, plus a kid or 2 (of which parker was absolutly great to) there was not really that many people there but it was a good time, the only thing I could have asked for was more info on the event, was it worth it. Yes. Will I do it again. Yes. Do I feel for the kids who did not get prizes because they did not pre register. Yes, but events like this are hard to put on. Mistakes might have been made but the only thing we can do now is try to rectify them for next time. I didn't get anything, honestly i didn't even think there were going to be prizes, idk if there were but in the end it's about going out. Meeting others who hopefully enjoy the hobby as much as you do and just having a good time crawling.

I truly hope that no more kids get left out. I know when I was younger it really would have disappointed me. However you get over it and move on.

Damn, I step away from the hobby for a few months for a back injury and I come back to this?

Kling-On RC started because I attended one G6 and saw what RECON did for this hobby. It brought together people of all walks and ages for a common goal of driving your heart out and having fun with friends. How could you not want to be a part of these G6 events.

I have never had Parker or anyone from RECON ever ask for my products to give out, but at every event I could make it to I gladly promote my product and help these guys out with prizes and giveaways. That being said, I had planned and committed to Axialfest this year. But due to back issues I cancelled last minute with no warning. They didn't call and complain or ask for product. Plus to show Parker's character he still listed me as a sponsor in his reply earlier in this thread.

And as far as honesty and morals of this group I will let their individual and collective characters speak for themselves. I had left Candie Bars and cash for a fundraiser out unattended at a RECON G6 event for a good 4 to 6 hours. Most events you would come up short, not here. My sons t-ball team scored. Then there was the time a rig was stolen after an event a few years back. It wasn't long before that G-Train rolled up with the help of G6ers and contributed parts and pieces to help replace the stolen rig. These guys are all good in my book!

In just a few more months Kling-On RC will be back in full swing and you know we will be riding the G-Train as soon as we can!!!!!!

Dozle so I think you are just confusing people, ok me for sure. So your upset about your bag, Axial took care of you like discussed. So now your beef is with how the prizes are handled? Things were not clearly stated about prizes being given as far as only pre reg were eligible. Is that it?
I think everbody is jumping on you because you're going about it all wrong. I really dont think anybody feels threatend by all your name calling, it just provokes a negative response. I am sure its just a defense mechanism for you when you feel threatend or picked on. You shouldnt feel that way, this is a safe place. We are all on computers. I hope we can get to the root of your issues, well at least why your so upset about Axialfest. If you want to see me face to face I charge for sessions, and you have to sign a release form. But really I am trying to understand... You need to relax, I take it as your just mad and feel like nobody takes you seriously.

P.S. GSRCC has NOTHING to do with the upset parties in this thread and doesnt want to be mentioned or claimed by you. I actually know one of them and talked to him and thats a cool group of guys, they like G6 and would prefer you didnt compare the 2.

Yeah,.. Wow, I just got word of any of this @3:45 in the morn..and duuuuude...Really?
Being Pre-Reg, Im assuming you paid AXIAL to Attend.......... cause I paid Axial to attend..........everyone else paid Axial to attend.......... It was Axialfest.......!
Nowhere did I hear it was Reconfest....... So, why would anyone ask Parker where their Pre-reg items were at..........? If you were missing items from the Grocery store, Id go back to the Grocery store and get my groceries..!

Giveaways.... Theres organized comps all over...very..very few..giveaway anything...EVER... FEW gives out half of what Axialfest gave out all year...let alone during a 3 day event over the weekend.
(I know, I get hit up all the time and I hear what organizers are doing.)

As for the secret buddy list.. I never knew there was one. I guess its super secret.. Oh well, I wasnt on it. Didnt really care either... I was one of the Supporters who gave things away. I can do that cause its all about sharing the love for the sport, not about what I didnt get..

So... Parker, Shame on you for putting on one bad ass event. Axial you too...! You both made my feet hurt thru 690 gates the 1st night, forced me to see those I chat with here in person and met some other awesome MF's too. I cant believe you both conspired to bring us to the woods to camp, got me outta work for a few days and killed my front bearings where I didnt get to finish the last stage. Yeah, real cool, see you next year for the rematch.

You volunteers are the worst. Trading off driving in Red Rocket to Canada, Sleeping on roadsides and traveling the country, comp to comp, wheres my Hawaiian vacation? Must suck to be you.., but id trade ya in a sec just because and not care to make a cent.

G-Crew, Thank you all for furthering OUR sport. We Italians send much love.

It's coming full circle,if you rewind time a few parker was a full blown comp guy ,ss I remember it some of the best comps in the buisness,,had a FKN blast going to them ,people started bashing him about this or that, end results comps are almost extinct, you uses to be able to click on comps in this section and it was ful of comps ,now well not so much if any, I hope people realize what one person has done for our hobby,,it is a group deal for sure ,but at the end of the day he got the tires rolling by himself we get to drive the car, I know a few comp guys that wish they could go back to the comp days before the trash and bash started we would still have epic comps, there still a couple comps here and there, very watered down though, nothing like the old comps at prison hill or pyramid lake,I watched this same situation happen to a close friend of mine ccrc, epic comps best around hands down ,trash and bash started and he left ,hasn't been a comp of that caliber since, hope it dosnt happen to this new fad the g6. My 2 cents...

Thank you all for the kind words and affirmation of how fun and family orientated the RECON G6 is. I am honored and remain humbled, because this to me is pure fun. I put a lot of thought and effort and I ask for a lot of elbow grease from volunteers, too, because I don't forget what the RECON G6 means to drivers.

For example, there have been a couple of RECON G6'ers who used the event for motivation to get through physical therapy after heart surgery, because all they wanted was to be able to finish another stage in a RECON G6.

Several drivers have used the RECON G6 to deal with the loss of immediate family members. My eyes swell with tears remembering their stories and how they looked forward to the next event so the building and hunting for unusual scale items took their mind off the surreal feeling of a loved one being gone.

For me personally, I love setting up and creating an event that offers the participants a chance to escape reality. Live in the adventure of a stage. Almost like going to the movies, minus the popcorn.

This thread has been informative at times, entertaining at times, but it has also been a glimpse into a small percentage of daily reality for segments of society.

Mike,

Keep in mind, I do constructive criticism, not complaints, but after reading through your posts, ( I use "your" which includes the couple of different user names speaking for or with you ), your issues with driver bag swag had been resolved by the appropriate party and the raffle, a bit confusing, true, but that too, was resolved. I had not read any negative feedback about the stages from you. In fact, the only constructive criticism that I hear was about the Ultra Class. I have resolved that for next year. The Ultra Drivers will be tested on their very own stage. That means, adventurist will not be interrupted during their adventure. In the initial post, I was complimented on my stage setting ability, thank you.

So it is apparent that this thread was started in an obvious attempt to get a response out of me. Now, you have it.

You come into the largest radio controlled rock crawling forum in the world, our home, RCC and you threaten people. That is known as bullying. Not acceptable in today's society. You make false allegations about me, but lets call it what it is, since the mods had to come in and close the thread and clean it up, what you did is called slander. Again, not acceptable here or in a court of law. In you failed attempts of slander and your out right lies, you have resorted to foul language, name calling, and inviting assault charges by posting your address online.

People that know me and you found out that there is quite a few of them, (thanks again family, friends, and fans for the support), those people know that when I say you need some "sugar titty" understand what that means. I will explain it to you.

"Sugar Titty" is a term my Dad used for tough love. The RECON G6 is a Family of G6'ers that share the joy of driving in a RECON G6 and embrace each challenge that it offers. You are part of that G6 family and unlike your malicious, false, and defamatory drug use statement, you have shown in your posts that you have anger issues with an alleged low self esteem from what I can read. So you need some tough love or sugar titty.

Here it is. Your right, you will not pay for your next RECON G6. I will not accept your G-Fee. Your attitude and quick reaction to resort to violence will not be tolerated. You have made readers and forum users uncomfortable by your bullying, your threats, and your slander. This includes you and the other users posting on your behalf, so don't take it personal, because I don't. You have disrespected my personal friends and have upset fans of mine and sponsors; personal and of the RECON G6.

You are quick to curse, admit your temper/anger issues, look in the mirror and you will see who I am talking to, Mike. Lets see how quick you are to apologize in a public forum, but not to me, to this forum and its users. You need to apologize to the RECON G6 Family. You need to apologize to the people you bullied in this thread. You need to recant your malicious statements made against me. That is all easy to do behind the comfort of a keyboard. When your public apologies are made, then you can come and apologize to me, face to face.

Thank Ya'll again and for those that did not post, but sent support pms, calls, and texts, remember, I lead from the front. I will continue to bring families and friends together for fun in the worlds number one remote control scale adventure event known at the RECON G6. Follow us on Facebook and our new RCC section found here; Competitions and Events - Recon G6 at RCCrawler.com

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated by anyone. I want to see everyone getting their scaler fix, in the next RECON G6.

-Parker

So it was known up front that pre-registering got you the prize pack, I don't think not getting your prize pack is a big enough deal to start this trainwreck, and apparantly if you complained Axial got you your prizes.

All this hubub over some free trinkets . The experience, memories, and comradarie is what you should hope to bring home from these events and from my experience with Parker and those of others at G6, you get that in spades. I have yet to pop my G6 cherry but I sure look forward to the day it happens.

Bless you Axial and Parker for all you have done for this hobby and the child-like adults who enjoy it.

What's up everyone. I've been out of the loop for a bit, but today I started browsing rcc and I have come accross this ridiculous thread. I remember when I attended my first g6; it was the third or fourth event to ever take place. I met Brad and Parker for the first time and we have been friends ever since.

I could have never imagined that people like this would ever be in the picture and this type of crying and complaining would ever take place because of a g6 event. Brad and I spoke at length about how the g6 was such a nice change from all of the bullcrap and complaining that goes on at rc races.I remember the fun it was just to kick it and drive a rc car around a camp site. Now look at what we have; people crying about raffles, entry fees, threatening and disrespecting others, etc...

You people complaining unfortunately can't see the big picture and if this stuff gets you this heated, I would hate to see how you handle the rest of life's challenges. You must feel threatened everyday and have something problematic happen to you each and every day. Seems like a sad way to live...

Who cares about a raffle or winning a silly prize in a drawing. Yes, everyone here seems to get what your saying about participants having an equal shot, but when it comes down to it, who cares? Why would someone cry about a $25 registration fee. It costs you hundreds if not thousands in travel, equipment, food , etc to make it to one of these events. People are complaining about paying $25 and not being included in a raffle. Haha

This whole thread just got me thinking. A close friend of mine served in the Iraq war. When he returned home he never once complained to me about the things that he witnesses or had to endure. Sure, he could have complained that three of his friends died or lost limbs. He could have complained about the long hot days and being absent from family and friends for so long. He could have also complained about having to put his life on the line for his country. Funny thing is, he did didnt complain about a thing. I think all of us here in America take things for granted and sometimes we loose focus on what's important. A raffle at a toy car event should not cause this type of behavior.

Personally I think Parker is being too nice by allowing you to apologize for your behavior. If it were me, I would simply say "never show up again to any of my events". Problem solved for good. You will be happy because you will never witness the injustice of rigged raffles, and we will be happy because we will never have to interact with you ever again.

So I didn't read through the whole thing just the original post or so and all I can say is a G6 is worth $25 just for the drive who cares about the prizes most the time I leave once I'm done I don't even stay for podiums and raffles and so forth I come for the Drive!
