Well awesomeness once again fell upon Alabama, we had a great show, good food, good people and some killer courses, and a few surprises. In 2.2 pro the a-game was definitely in the house as Tncrawlin (Jamie) stole the top qualifier spot by a small -5 over Alcrawler (Heath) who was ahead of Chicklett by -8, theslick00 was in 4th place behind chic by 11 points and finally Btf rounded out the final 5. The stage was set for a awesome finals atop the big mountain and had some very very tight driving and more surprises, heres how it played out , 1st Chicklett -40 congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2nd Btf -38 3rd Tn crawlin 16 4th Alcrawler 29 5th theSlick00 33 A huge thanks to all that showed up, helped with courses, cooked chili and made this one of the best days Ive had in awhile, Hats off to you all Sportsman class was another killer class with a few more surprises, 10 drivers, all in the - points with the exception of yours truly (i borrowed a rig) lol, Chicklett once again was on her a-game as she commanded top qualifier with a -30 followed by a -24 tie for 2nd between Nissan Kid and newbie CBC, nissan kid edged out CBC by 1st course results. CJ held 4th with a -23 and Alcrawler covered the final 5th spot with a -15.. But wait CJ scratched moving Alcrawler to 4th and moving Classic cut customs (Barry) into the finals!!! well the game was on and it was getting dark quickly as we moved into the finals, Heres how it went, 1st CBC -45 2nd Chicklett -42 3rd Alcrawler -40 4th Nissan kid -8 5th CCC (barry) 4 Awesome is all I can say!! Thanks again to Barry, jslick, Big Ron, Baldy, Cj and cliff (who forgot his woopa$$) for making the show, good to see you all again!! Last edited by hbj069; 02-09-2014 at 05:27 PM. |

Comp was a blast! Thanks to Joe and the ALRC crew for putting on the comp. Alcrawler, the chili was great a touch and I know everyone appreciated having a hot meal. Glad to see the TN guys come down…you guys always make me laugh. I'm glad the rain stayed away. Hope to see all of you again soon! Last edited by chicklet; 02-09-2014 at 06:51 AM. |

Thanks again for the great time yesterday Joe...... It was a great day. The weather held out even though there was rain and snow all around the SE. We just had a local comp last weekend but several of my guys decided that we should make a road trip. I am happy we did. Congrats to Chicklet on her win but I think Nick was partially responsible for that. He set up the finals on his home turf and then ran first and then proceeded to coach the rest through the course. It was a great show of sportsmanship and every one had a great time. Speaking of sportsmanship....... The big story was over on the Sporty side. It was a great set of courses for the Shafty trucks and plenty of variety to test the latest setups. Chicklet was on top there too but the big story was the new kid from Grant. Jonathan ( crazyboutcrawlin) (CBC) came to his first comp at Cliff1119 house in December. He brought a stock AX10 but quickly went back to the drawing board and decided to build a new truck. After two trips to CCC production headquarters he had a full blown ClassiCutCustoms Boxer Shafty. He took it to Northshore last weekend and placed 4th. Yesterday he backed up the smack talk he had been doing and took his truck to a first place finish! Congratulations Beck...... Way to blow up LRC!
